How upset would you be if Lambo, Porsche, Maserati and Bugatti don't appear in GT5?

Wasn't Maserati confirmed? A long time ago there were some pics of PD studio showing a model of a Maserati GranSport ..

I don't really like Lamborghini or Porsche, I wouldn't be dissapointed if they're not in the game.. but it would be a nice addition. And I don't care about Bugatti lol

Why do we need thread after thread about this kind of thing? Personally I couldn't care two hoots. I'd get on with life as usual, and enjoy GT5 for what it was.

To be honest in the GT5 Trailer I saw VERY few cars that were not in GT4 or GT5P, dont expect a lot of new cars. Think the premimum brands will cost extra as in DLC. As well as NASCAR think that will be DLC as well.

I will still buy the game even if they are not included. It would be nice to have some Porches for Le Mans racing.

Vote: Not dissappointed.

Something tells me that Maserati and Bugatti will be in full game, Porsche srue, it will be as big of surprise as day and night in game cycles.

They've not been in the previous four games so it's not exactly a deal breaker but it would be nice to have all of them.

The show must go on

I can only think of maybe a dozen Porsches and Lamborghinis I would drive if they were in the game which is nothing to the othe r600 cars that will be in the game

Wouldn't mind at all, considering they were never mentioned as being in by anyone who actually has any say in the matter.

Well, maybe Maserati, but I still wouldn't mind.

The main thing for Porsche and ferrari would be the Le mans cars though their history, I thunk they could add a great deal to the game.

Either way, the show must go on.

I voted "The show must go on". Why? I don't play GT for Porsche and Lamborghini as I could easily put in GRID or any other game and race them(even though they are one car each), I play GT because I love cars period.

As much as the possibility of these manufacturers' absence is distinct, I would really love to see:

Lamborghini Miura SV
Diablo
Countach
Jalpa
Maserati Bora
MC12
Porsche 928 S
911
944
962!!!
Bugatti EB 110SS
Veyron

Speaking of these manufacturers, what about De Tomaso? Pantera, anyone?
And what about Bizzarrini?
And Isdera? Who remembers the Commendatore?
What about the ItalDesign Cala?

I would like to drive the '97 or '98 porsche 911 GT1 Le Mans cars, and maybe even the Porsche from the Steve McQueen movie

As for Porsche's road cars, I would like to try a '90 911 and thats about it.

As for Lamborghini (and Porsche too), all thier cars look alike. I dont get the fascination with them

I voted "I'd definitely be let down, but the show must go on."
Sure, I'll be disappointed if the cars aren't included, but I still buy and enjoy the game!

Sort of bummed out,but not enough to stop me from playing. This game will have so much to make you busy, that you'll soon forget about those cars.

No one from PD has indicated that these cars will be in GT5 so short of them being confirmed either in an interview or in screenhots I will continue to assume that they won't be there. If they were supposed to be in, if PD had said they would be, or shown a screen shot that they were and then thety wern't (either pulled or held back as DLC) then I'd be annoyed. But it wouldn't bother me too much otherwise.

I think that unless we get a confirmation from PD or Sony, we won't have them. Wouldn't you think that if they got the license for Lambo or Porsche they wouldn't say something? I think if they get it, they would be like "OMG WE HAS PORSCHE AND LAMBO !!!!!!111!one!!!"

Then the forum would clogged up just as it did during the GT5 trailer at E3, lol

I'd many times over buy a game with a flawless simulation and the car list of GT1, than one that relies on one or two car brands to sell the game.

It has been more than ten years now I have been playing GT without porsche, lamborghini, bugatti and maserati I would like to see all of them make an appearance in GT5 but as I voted : I will be let down but the show must go on.

You know, I see so many posts about how GTP members obsessively collect & drive every car in GT games and how variety is what makes Gran Turismo. Yet, there are a number of posts on this very thread saying that these historical marques are NOT necessary or that they wouldn't be broken up about not having them...Are these the same people? It's a bit contradictory.

Personally, I'd be disappointed. Porsche and motorsport go hand in hand. You can't have one without the other.

Maserati has a rich heritage, they can't be ignored.

Same goes for Bugatti. Most people don't look past the Veyron and the EB110SS, but the Type 57 Atlantic most definitely deserves to be in GT.

Lamborghini's cars are the essence of supercars. No collection of cars (real or virtual) is complete without the Miura SV, Countach, Diablo, etc.

That is all true. but as someone said before, it has been 10 years without these marquee brands and it hasn't stopped GT from being one of the most enjoyable and one of the best and most popular racing games/simulators in the world.. sure it's a disapointment not to have them, but im sure the other hundreds of cars will be enough to last you a while ;)
