SONY forced Polyphony to work on GT Mobile and make it a top priority, when Kaz wanted to release GT5 first. I suppose you didn't notice Kazunori's interviews in which he said there were times the entire team quit working on GT5 to focus on Mobile. If Prologue is anything to go by they will promise to support the game with DLC or patches until GT6 Prologue but stop supporting it after a year or two.

Kaz said it in interviews in 2007 and 2008.I would love to know where you got such info. Dis you actually talk to someone from sony?
While this does not confirm that GT Mobile has been scrapped, it certainly insinuates that GT Mobile has been put on the backburner while the obviously crucial PS3 game takes the lead.
This was, after all, exactly what series creator Kazunori Yamauchi, said just last month - that while he's very much working on Gran Turismo Mobile, it won't be out til after Gran Turismo 5 releases.
