Well that would be kind of cool, but a lot of work. In Shift though they had race cars and when you cycled through the liveries the last few were just all blue or all red etc. That's what I mean.
If GT5 does incorporate a livery editor...

Maybe they feature visual tuning, so you can moditfy the stock version of the race car to look like the race car and do a custom paint job.
It would still be cool to have modifications to the liveries of race cars, especially after playing GT Mobile, i saw some things that need to be changed.
Especially the Lancia Rally cars with the Martini Racing livery are missing the "Martini" lettering, PD replaced them with some black boxes instead, its ridiculous.

If we don't get a livery editor... at least the "Racing Modification" from Gran Turismo 2 would be nice.....

bahaha! you have obviously not messed with the livery editor much...because to say that "youngsters" are making those is comical...have you tried to make pictures like that using squares, triangles and other geometric shapes?...
I posted those to show what a livery editor is capable of...if you think those designs are in some way "easier" or more "childish" to create i suggest you give it a try....if those are made by a 13 year old then they are extremely talented to be able to create those images using the tools they are given...
I also love the "mature gamers" part too...funny lol
of course there are some of those "mature gamers" making race liveries lol
like the GT LM from the GT series lol
kids can leave now, these next ones are for mature audiences only

Also the above is not a anime, it's a "main halo" character from a voice synthesizer program From yamaha named vocaloid basically you type the lyrics, set the pitch, and they sing it...beautifully..... she is one of the many of thousands of vocaloids. though an anime is scheduled for 2010...
I guess Vocaloids are taking over japan literaly...And Lol @ people who think anime is for 13 year olds... I wouldnt even try to show 13-17 year olds 97% of the "real" anime that comes from the otaku filled streets of japan.... This excludes yugio, card captor sakura, Pokemon.... digimon... and the like.
but anyway enough with my otakuness....back to topic.

If Gran Turismo features a livery editor, more people will be attracted. The series will grow just because of it. Easily. No doubt about it.

I need to find a pic of my red, white, and blue DB9 from NFS:MW! All time favorite livery for me.

The irony is, showing the 'stop hotlinking' image is almost as much drag on their servers as the Legacy image...

Thank you kindly. Actually, alba got the ball rolling with some excellent GT vinyls. I added my own to the stack, and if you want to play the GT Planet livery game, head over to the Forza 3 board here, and to the GT Planet livery experiment thread. Plus hit up alba or myself, if you can find me on my 360. I'm taking a break from Forza 3 because of the hideous file loading issues I have to deal with. Or just post over there a request for our vinyls, alba and I have been sharing them, and surely someone there will gift them to you.
Sometime this weekend when I have some time to waste, I'll add some pics of my newest project, which I completed a couple of weeks ago.

I wonder if they will allow text on windows and banners. That way we can put our names on the window and also do things like this....not only banners at the top like race cars, but on any part of the windows like drift style.
