Added the link to my post 👍
I think I did it right...?

shoot i can't get it onto my PS3 until i get my DS3 powered up:ouch: I hope you made it into GT academy with your talent (haven't watched yet but i'm assuming its legit). Hope you didn't have skid recovery or active steering on as that would make your lap invalid.

Nope. No aids WHATSOEVER, only ABS: 1
:) And I did do GT academy but just had too much going on during its first round to have the time to be as competitive as I would have liked to have been :(

Next time though! :D

OK, been away from GT5 for a little while because work is a bear and all of that other good stuff. Finally took a little time to try and do a damage free BKOTT run, and you guys are A LOT better than I am.

GT Planet Username:
- Genghis505

BKOTT:
- 9:17.439

Controller Type:
- Dualshock3

Kind of embarrassing, but oh well. Just means I need a lot of practice with heavy damage. I saved the replay with the hopes that no one actually needs to verify the time. :-)

Now I just need to power cycle the UCD to try and find the "Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (AE86) ‘83".

Hey Timber, have you had the chance yet to confirm my time yet? I would like to see the OP updated! :D lol

Hey man, sorry about the delay, I still haven't got the opportunity to see the replay yet! Got erands to run yesterday... Haha... I'll try get onto it asap. But yeah! Congrats to the great time!

That's one great lap.

I still need the AE86 before I can get to work on this round.
I also wan't to try and better my lap time for the BKOTT challenge.

You've got mail ;) PS, that was actually my car.. Lol, like, as in, the one that I tuned and setup, for my own entry.. So, that'll be a winner, for sure man! 👍 Hope ya like her, mate! :D

👍 Good one man! Do you mind if I link it to the front page? Haha.. really feels like watching how Bunta would drive the Nürburgring.

Congrats for being the current BKOTT record holder!

I think thats a good idea. So others can learn and enhance they technique. 👍👍

Anyway thats one great time. Even without shortcuts was he able to drive such a great time. Now i think that taking shortcuts aint that good.

Hi everyone - just want to know if a time with the AE86 on Trial Mountain 1:53:something is good or it aint that good.

Thats all - thx -

First,

I just want to thank Kado for sending me an AE86. Thank you very much appreciated. My question for TimberW, for the Seasonal Event for the AE86. Can we use the clutch if we own a G25/G27?

I'm still looking for the AE86, if anyone has one to spare. I would greatly appreciate it. I'll look again tonight after work and dinner.

I personally think that shouldn't be a problem.. lol, but that's just ME.
See, if you're really a 'boss' with a clutch on a G25/G27, there miiiight be a small chance, that you're a decent driver IRL (in real-life). This is simply because of, the correct and proper utilization of heel-toe, IMO. Therefore making you a 'boss', much like Bunta [or myself, haha jk]. NOW, on the flip-side... If you don't know what the hell you're doing with the clutch, in the game, you're simply shooting yourself in the foot  This would pretty much be, a pretty large disadvantage for the user, if they really DON'T know what the hell they're doing with a clutch/wheel, lol. So, if you ask me... No harm, no foul. :)

Ps, I DO have a wheel, however, Logitech currently has been holding it 'hostage', for warranty repairs.. FML, lol. It's been gone from me now, since October.. so, I haven't even been able to tear up GT5 with it yet :( Only Prologue.. So, when I get my baby back, watchout fellas :)

Well heel and toe isn't hard, I pretty much use it during daily driving as well as autocrossing. But a difference in time is still a difference.

I am going to attempt a few runs today. I will also like to thank everyone involved in this series for sharing and helping each other. Keep it up!
also,
Car registry: Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex '83
Mods: car has all the same mods as weavty1's since it was his car. :D

No problem, the clutch can be used.

I haven't got a spare yet, still going through the Used Car Dealership.

After the time trial, perhaps we should bring all our AE86 into an online battle. Let me know what you guys think about this. It would need some form of organizing and stuff. But it'll be fun!

Hey Joe,

You down to run a hot lap session for Tsukuba for an hour today or tomorrow?

For the AE86 Battle, we could use Tsukuba since the AE86 N2 Cup is always on that course.

I'll like to join up as well, if I can see you guys online. haha...

For the online battle, we can probably sort that out at the room. We just need a date and time.

How's Saturday, 12 Feb at 22:00GMT?

I would like to do it tomorrow for like an hour. Any time after 3 PM is good since that is when I get off from work. I would have done it tonight if I had seen this earlier but it's late and I have guest coming over. I can't do it Saturday because I work from 8am to 5pm that day.
By the way I am going to PM you TimberW with my AE86 results soon.
PS. The AE86 N2 cup race is epic. I have a Best Motoring video were they cover that race and I loved it. I also do that type of racing in R Factor sometimes.

Hmm 1:10.3xx seems quite slow on Tsukuba, anyone else getting faster lap times?

Edit - Nevermind, new lap times :)
