Intercontinental GT500 Championship Season Two - Finished

Because I've been the one banging on about being really busy with college for the last god knows how long :sly:

I could be wrong though, but I just assumed! :P

good to know about the 1 move for defensive line.. i didnt read that ( must of overlooked that one.. )

That sucks.

First of all, every member who signs up for this championship should have read and fully understand the GTPlanet AUP and OLR. We expect racers to be sensible both on and off the track, as well as being clean on the track. You must be able to distinguish between a gap that exists, and a gap that doesn’t exist.

And if we do open the link over OLR we can scroll down to

10: Defensive Driving:

A:
Leading cars have the right to choose their own line down a straight. They can change their racing line once while driving down a straight (Move from the outside line to the inside, or vice versa). As they approach the next corner, they can return to the racing line of their choice However, they're not allowed to change their line when the behind driver is directly behind and changes his line to try and make a pass. If your movement causes an accident, you're responsible.

Just to make things clear :)

thanks for posting it!,

to be honest.. i think making this championship abit bigger & better.. i wold say make it a team championship..

2 players per car.. every track being races twice.. 1 time by 1 partner next time by the other.. on a different day for example saturdays.. immortal plays for ( his own ranking & team ranking overal, sunday his other teammate races his ranking & overal team ranking wich will be counted at the end of the season.. team with most point wins the championship & individual winners win their division.. etc.. what u guys think?

makes it abit more competetive.. bcause if for example immo doesnt get the full 40 points in his race.. his teammate has more pressure to make up the points he did not pick up ..

It sounds interesting, but I'm afraid it wont make it bigger, but smaller.

We would need twice as many racers to make the grid the same size as now. First we need to take a look on how to make it more interesting to join so we could fill up the empty spots we do have. If we get more than 24 drivers we could think about making two divisions and make it team based. But with the amount of 11 drivers this is just plain stupid :)

I still really like the idea that someone (I think it was Erik) proposed a few weeks ago, where instead of being forced to use the racing hard tyres for only one stint, we could make it so that everyone is forced to use the racing medium tyres and are only allowed to use the racing soft tyres once during the entire course of a race.

If the championship is over before the end of the season (like it was last season) then we could try doing that in the final race.

Hi, I'm new to any racing league, and I'd like to participate in this league, if possible :D
So now I'm asking if there are spots open for this season, and if there are, will my spot be carried automaticly to the next season, or do I need to sign up again :) Thank you for your time

Joppo7

Joppo7 you are free to join and you will not have to sign up for next season, joining this late in the championship will just make you get to know us before season 3 starts :)

Just post:

And send ErikAndre71 and Arkano6 a PSN friend request.

Joppo7
Xanavi Nismo GT-R '08

I'll send FR later today, see you around! :D

Edit. to be accurate, in the rules it says that cars need to be 100% stock, does that include suspension and transmission settings?
Edit 2 : Grammar, using phone :DD

You are free to make your own settings, but you can not buy any after marked parts, except the Chassis Rigidity.

So no stage 3 or any turbo are allowed

we can invite people who we know who are dedicated & really good.. and definately we can make this championship 16 players for sure. people can choose their own partners aswell.. i think people choosing their partners.. definately know how to drive clean because people driving clean themselfs are mostly friends with people who drive clean..

at amazon, T500RS costs 380 pounds/435 Euros :embarrassed:
I'm not planning to do any time today propersian, but it sounds pretty good

Inviting dedicated, clean friends into the championship is fine :)

The more the merrier!

please include team championship next season :)

I wanted it in this season, but as things panned out it didn't happen. We'll get it sorted for next season, next season should be really exciting :)

Arkano did a 1:43.9, I cant get below 1:45.xxx

I'm averaging 1:44's and occasionally a 1:45, although I need to get that 43.9 down to a 43.5-6 at least. I believe GP's best time last season at GVS was a 1:43.4xx.

Well been trying it with my ballast so far, don't think I even will try without. Will hurt to much to see what I could have done :P

i have some people who could join who are really good drivers too & dedicated aswell.. if everyone has 1 player that could most likely do the job for a team championship.. but if needed and decided what ur going to do just give me a shout i ll invite those who i think want to join..

I hope we don't change to much next season...and doing/trying strange things like propersian idea.

I like the idea, and i am excited to try "limited BHP" and "medium/soft tyre rule" in the next test&pre-season races...?👍

Guess a welcome to the championship is in order :)

Welcome to our two new members Joppo7 and karolinho. Looking forward to see you on track.

Races happens in my private lounge and it would be smart of you to try test the room before Saturday so if we get problems we can solve it in good time before the race. I will be on tomorrow to try some magical tricks to my car. You are welcome to join in any time to practice

Maxitsu: Ive been working on the cars today, looks like 493bhp will even out most cars. I am not done, and the Lexus ENEOS seemed way to slow. The two other 08 Lexus are ok, but the ENEOS is to slow. So it will get a turbo, still limited to 493 its even.

I try to make them so it is easy to police. It will be much easier to just set the room to 493bhp and thats it. Instead of having different settings to all cars to make them even. We could trust people, but thats just not going to happen :P

It proved to be one big job, but like I said.. I'm on it :)

After some serious testing I found it hard to keep these cars
BANDAI DIREZZA SC430 ‘06 and the Yellowhat YMS Supra ‘05 since it have less down force than the rest of the cars.

The Castrol TOM’S Supra ‘97 since it have more down force than the rest of the cars

The Xanavi Nismo Z ‘06 since it have stage 3 engine and turbo, making the torque way higher than the rest of the cars. And when limiting the bhp on all cars this will be to powerfull.

These cars obviously do not follow the rules of the newer cars and will be hard to get even with the rest. So my suggestion is to remove them.
I tested all the cars and I found all cars stock limited to 493bhp will be even. Except the Lexus ENEOS witch was even with stage 3 engine upgrade and limited to 493bhp
This way we can limit the room to 493 and we know how to spot the difference between stock cars and upgraded cars so it will be easy to police.

This is obviously not for this season, but for the next and in is a suggestion not something decided. So if anyone have a saying it it. Please say so.

If you cant be creative enough to give me feedback other than I HATE IT you can keep silence.

IMMO and GP are just rocking in this championship with this car. :embarrassed: Or am i wrong???

Well, if we put out the engine update isn't bad, is it??? You are talking about stock turbo right??? I think it's at 510bhp at 95,1 Power Limiter. It's as fast as the other cars currently

Correct 👍
