Intercontinental GT500 Championship Season Two - Finished

IMMO and GP are just rocking in this championship with this car. :embarrassed: Or am i wrong???

Wrong: They use the GT-R Yellowhat
Well, if we put out the engine update isn't bad, is it??? You are talking about stock turbo right??? I think it's at 510bhp at 95,1 Power Limiter. It's as fast as the other cars currently
Correct 👍
Yes as it is now its even to the GT-R and a bit to powerful for the NSX, but when limting the GT-R and the NSX to make the newer Lexus cars even. It's not, and you shouldn't have 510 but 508 :)
Great! All stock cars are at 493bhp???

Ye when they are new, my GT-R is at 518bhp and that's stock

Oh and OFF-Topic, Arka, whats your name at LoL?

TheConcierge.

I only play 2-3 times a night though at most.

I'm fine with what Erik has put down already, removing those cars seems to be the most fair way of doing things.

didn't found you, you better add me at the usual one, anastasis14 :sly:

I am really having problems to make a setup on GVS.

I move some ballast toward the rear. to find some grip while accelerating. that works fine. My other settings are made that way, i can throw my car into the corners. but then i lose the car very often in the slow hairpin. i can make it some more "stable" but then i am vey slow.
My camber value is 3.0-2.5. or 2.5-2.0. but i like to use 3.0/3.5 like i did use previous year. I know its extreme but i don't know what to change.:ill:

That has always been my problem with GVS, to get that hairpin right you have to sacrifice a lot everywhere else. Try evening out the height so the car will be less likely to oversteer in acceleration (assuming you set the height for ridiculous oversteer like I do)

That slippy hairpin is uber easy with the GT-R, but for the NSX it's literally a death trap.

For GVS last season, I had:

Suspension:
5 - 6
14.4 - 12.6
6 - 4
6 - 4
2 - 3

Camber:
1.1 - 1.2
-0.11 - 0.09

LSD:
9
37
14

Ballast:
0
+3

Max Downforce

Brakes:
4:4 or 3:4 if front tyre wear is too much (DFGT is great for changing the break balance during a race <3)

Transmission:
186mph max speed. I'll let you work out a transmission setting for yourself :)

-------

Feel free to use that set-up, I don't mind. It wont work on a GT-R though, at least not from my experience. This is also the set up that I got a 1:43.9xx during the race last season in my Raybrig NSX ;)

(DFGT is great for changing the break balance during a race <3)

It's even easier to access it from the T500RS, the DFGT have the adjustment of it to far from were my hands are on the wheel itself :)

Took me 3 minutes to set up the buttons though as it's not on by default, but now I can adjust break balance in a corner if I like, no stress 👍

Problem is that its rather bumpy in that turn, so don't make the car to stiff, and in general high negative camber is good for hight speed corners, low camber is good for low speed corners. So 3 and 3,5 is way to high number. The numbers Arkano have there sounds much better for GVS.

And do not touch the inner curb, even the GT-R will spin if I do that, but I have a rather over steering GT-R. So instead of touching the inner curb, aim for the outer curb on your way out of the turn. You will straighten up your car earlier and can go harder on the throttle ;)

Simple racing trick, slow in, fast out :)

I still go to slow on this track, I managed a 1:44.8, but race pace is around 1:46-1:47. And I feel I got a good rhythm, but it cant be compared to some hot laps around this track. GP got a 1:43.666 and by the look of it he didn't even try that hard. I guess someone have more talent than me :dunce:

Thx for the advise.

I did take the corner alread very easy on the outside to prevent a spin. and yes my car is very stiff :dopey:.

The camber settings of arkano are very low :odd:

Saturday i go for some practise... see what i can do...

Well, I haven't really tuned the NSX, but the highest I went on camber is 1.9 at the front and 0.9 at the back. I also use 1.8 on both front and rear on a track or two. So I really don't see Arkano's camber as "very" low. I see your camber as very high :)

You also say your car is very stiff, witch mean you wont have much body roll so high camber with this setting will in fact just give you less tyre to the grown and less grip. It might feel very stable, but thats just until you spin or under steer on to the gravel.

Why do i have my camber lower than 0.5 always, and i consider 1.0 as very very high???? :banghead::confused::irked:🤬

Using 0.5 camber in the z with a DS3 is really impressive, I always went between 1.7 and 2.3 give or take.
We having fireworks tonight so I probably won't make it, I would pop in for some fun throughout the day but a certain Mr. Drake was delivered this morning :)

Hi , immortal told me about your league , I would like to take part in tonights race

I will be using the woodone gtr , I hope its a good car , I see no one has choosed it.

Could you please add me on psn : skengdigi

And also could you please explain to me what hard laps are ?

Welcome to the championship, please don't be as fast as immortal :sly: .
We mean Laps with Racing Hard tires fitted.

Also what are the rules for the woodone gtr ?

I see all cars are to be stock , is there a hp limit ?

I do hope you plan to participate in more than the race tonight, if so you are welcome :)

Cars just need to be stock, there are no limit on the WOODONE ADVAN Clarion GT-R

I suggest you move the stock ballast forward in your car as this car is a bit unbalanced, you don't have to add ballast, but all the SuperGT cars do have 100kg you can move around.
I actually plan to adjust this car to be more balanced, but I haven't got around to it yet.

EDIT: room is already open guys. As I need tons of practice :)

I just wondered because the pp on this gtr is lower than the others

We know that and we plan to make it more even with the rest for next season, but for now it's just how it is. I have no time now to make it more competitive. But you are free to pick any other car from the list. that is not already taken. Some NSX are very competitive.

The race is an hour earlier now? It should be an hour later as to accommodate daylight savings.

I should be there, but if I'm not it's because I'm busy eating because I expected to race to be at the same time as before.
