I'm Felipe Andre. :)

Just bought the Star Mazda, New Hampshire and Watkins Glen last night. My girlfriend gave me the Star Mazda, a friend gave me New Hampshire and I bought Watkins Glen with the credits I got from the championship I was in. :)

Personally I wouldn't get New Hampshire but my friend gave me the money specifically to buy that track so I can help him practice because we'll be racing it on tuesday.

Edit: And once I get the $15 from the three purchases promotion I'll buy Mosport.

Felipe I'll be sending u an invite as well. It will come from Richard. I just got done with a TT on New Hamp. I am really digging that track now :dopey:

Ok awesome my Time Trial rating just started to rise up again which is unexpected I just knew it would plummet forever. Been racing on New Hampshire all day long basically. I think I'm starting to get decent with this Skippy now.

Some bad news tho. I did a qualification time which put me in the middle cause a lot of folks didnt bother qualifying. Ugh, I got wrecked on the 1st lap. Shortly after that another guy plows into the back of me. So my SR took a little punishment on that one. But still looking forward to hopping back in there later and try another race.

Can't wait to go home and get the extra 0.02 to level c in 8 or so hours :P. I will definitely time trial or qualify to get it up. I don't think it's worth qualifying this late in the week though.

Got it, straight to 4.48 D, or 3.48 C.

I also bought the v8, ill wait till the track changes to okayama before I take it seriously though.

Had a good race in the mx5's before. Was following first at a very fast pace and we were fighting for position, turn one on limerock at 12th or so lap I put it into first instead of third. Car went sideways immediately and was infront of the driver I was racing.

Somehow he managed to stop and avoid a collision, and I apologized immeadiately, but it was fastest race I had.

Ran a 58.844 :) 87th in world records for the mx5 roadster.

That's an amazing time Dav. I think my best is a 59.3, I'm still having trouble with the entry into turn 1, I think that's where I'm losing most of my time.

Say, iRacing has Laguna Seca, right? Wondering if any of you guys can anywhere near or even destroy the LMP2 pole time from this weekend's race with the ARX-01C.

yes it's free and is part of the base package.

beating that time should be easy..
the lmp2 we have in iracing is faster then todays lmp1 cars.

Well, can I see you do it? :dopey:

If what you say is true, you might even best the 1:16 someone did in LMP1 during the race (can't remember if it was Kane or Fernandez who pulled that off)

check real world times and compare yourself.
its faster then todays Audis and Peugeots around Sebring even

no problems! would be a shame to not fully exploit what the t500 can do :)

0 damping is also best because it lets through all the details.
you should run the fdb strength at 45-48% in windows aswell. maximum linear force without clipping.

12 in the game is a little to much still (proven) it will osscillate with that much force so work your way down to 10 or below it, trust me you wont feel it after a few laps, ffb will stil be strongl but it will showcase all the details iracing want you to feel :)

Thanks again Hampus, I just moved the ffb to 10, and changed the damper to 0 in both the sim and the windows area. I just did two laps in the Falcon at Road Atlanta and it feels smooth and precise.

I'm using the T500RS pedals and have the "in sim" brake pressure set to 1.80. Do you have any feedback on this setting?

Thanks again for helping me fine tune my setup. đź‘Ť

No problem! I was like you before and wanted alot of strength so it went against everything i thought felt good to go down in FFB but now i´m down to 5-8 for cars and it really lets you feel all the details in the car etc :)
At first it feels wrong because it´s so light but when your used to it the strength will "come back" psychologically ;)

No sorry i have no tips or tricks regarding the pedals mainly because i have never used mine :)
I have CSP´s with loadcell, when that comes out to T500 pedals i might consider switching as i really like the GT layout of the T500 pedals.
Loadcell is a must buy and do not even hesitate to buy it when it comes, it will take your braking to the next level trust me :)

Jav
Guys the server for the GTPITCC is going online in about 30 mins feel free to join us! Look for Watkinsglenn with the Jetta/Javier Torres.

I don't have Watkins Glen yet. It seems to be a popular track, maybe i'll have to add it when I make my next purchase.

Funny I own Watkins Glen but no Jetta yet. I'm thinking my next step will most likely be that Riley prototype a few weeks down the road... I'm a fan of the real life Grand Am racing series đź‘Ť

But of course 1st I want to master these cars at my current level....

Definitely go for it! The Riley is an awsome car to drive! Love it!!

I was doing some testing yesterday and was running 1:12.4's So I'd say we're quite a bit quicker. The 09 Acura has more downforce and power than the LMP1's this year. So we should be faster.

That's very good to hear Jav! I am looking forward to getting inside of that beast. đź‘Ť

And Hampus you keep tempting me to order myself some Clubsport pedals. Perhaps a little after Christmas....

The Riley is a great car. My favorite cars are the Mustang, Riley, and the Falcon.đź‘Ť Love how these three cars are just brutal to drive and I don't mean brutal in a bad way. These cars put a smile on my face every time I drive them.:)

Clubsport pedals are more than worth the price.

Yup, your braking part will just get to the next level. You can actually challenge people in braking zones without worrying of locking up and if you do you can just ease of slightly etc.

With potentios you can´t really relax during braking zones but with a loadcell you can really lean on them in overtakes ;)

And the rest of the pedals are just pure engineering art. Solid construction, i´ve had mine for over a year and haven´t done anything to them yet. They feel like they are brand new to me minus the dust that gets picked up certain places,
