This is the opinions forum. But it's a forum. If you post, your opening your opinions up to criticism. we watched on the news what the israeli people are going through and how they are living in fear. but as to why i am against israel and all that represents, is because of what i saw and what i see. here is a link to some of what israel is doing to the lebanese people, forget the headlines and forget all what they are saying just look at the pictures and tell me if the same thing is happening in israel.

That is what war looks like, and we need to remember that. As a kid, I used to believe that wars were glorious. It is not. Picture of a little girl towards the bottom of the page made me want to cry.
I'm not one of those people, who think Israeli military is justified in blowing up civilians..... yes, accidentally.
But, Hezbollah are even worse. They actually target enemy civilians, while using their own civilians as shields. I hope God exist. For so many different reasons.

i am sorry that you had to see such images. but even with hizbullah actually targetting civillianz and having half of his unguided missles falling in bushes and on the outskirts of cities and the other half on civilianz they have not achieved the a fraction of what israel have achieved in the number of civilian kills with laser guided and smart bomb and missles. am i justifying the kills that hizbullah might get out of israeli civilians, no, but at the same time what they are doing is nothing compared to the brutality that the israeli army is dispalying. 900 lebanese killed to date by the recent esscalations, 35 so far on the israeli side, what kind of war is that, what kind of justice and self restraint do we call this.That is what war looks like, and we need to remember that. If I laid out 900 dead people in front of you, could you tell me which of the 900 were completely innocent, and which were terrorists? It's amazing that you still don't understand this and still quote numbers as if they either mean anything or are cast-iron proof of anything.

allow me to say sir that from your remarks i deduce that you are a savage person and have no sympathy to human life what so ever. and if you look back and read what i said you would see that i mentioned the israeli deaths and how they are unjustefiable, and it is because of the death ratio with comparison to the lebanese side,people around the world are outraged by israel and it's actions.
but tell me one thing, why is it when a bunch of israelis get killed every one around the world has to be put on notice but when arab civilians get killed we barely hear of it, example 10 israelis got killed by a rocket attack all at once, we never heard the end of it because of the constant barrage of the media, 2 days before that incident a family of seven in ghaza at the beach where bombed did you ever hear about it, why is it israeli blood is significant and worthy and the arab's is not.
this war is older than 4 weeks or four months, not even four years this war goes back 24 years when israel went into lebanon and abducted lebanese men in the hundreds who are still in israeli prisons if not dead by now.
look at the bigger picture.
i;m sure you will come back with some screwed up anology and you will justify whatever israel is doing, and i'll tell you: good job for being such a hard liner. but the facts are out there, israel is a terrorist state and they have the backing of the united states and no matter how you try to twist it or justify it theire hands is tainted with blood since it's conception. and if you think that israel is contended with peace i would like to point out to the israeli flag, you have the star of david in the middle and on the top and the bottom you have blule stripes, these stripes symbolize two rivers euphrates and the nile. according to jewish beleive theire land should extend from the nile to the euphrates and for them to achieve that goal they have to instigate wars all the time, in short even after a cease fire and even if hizbullah is disarmed and even if everybody agrees with the resolutions that israel put on the table on theire own terms, this does not mean that we will not hear from them again, they will come up with something else, they will create a turmoil one way or the other.

I ask you again - how is it you know that 900 Lebanese people have been killed? Can you tell dead innocent citizens apart from dead terrorists?

I just listened to it. It's funny how he only goes back 24 years. Why doesn't he go back a few thousand when that was ALL Israeli territory? I know why, because that would break his argument.
So his point is that we think that Israeli's are more important then the "arabs". Well, nope. I don't. But I do think that civilians are more important then terrorists and that if Lebanon/Hezbolah really wanted those prisoners released, they could've tried a diplomatic way. But since they don't deem the Israelis as actual human beings, that option is impossible.
Galloway never mentions that point though...does he?

I haven't read it. Generally, if he's said it, it isn't worth listening to. I watched his performance on HIGNFY late last week and Ian Hislop just tore him and his hypocrisy apart.
Could you precis it for me (removing any of his silly words, for preference) so I might get a better idea of what he's saying without having to comb through it? I know I have a lot of time on my hands, but not that much.
