The new standard in car cockpit has just brought this car alive for me. Has been so much fun doing the seasonal. Good luck with the series fellas!

I agree, it's a bit low res but at least it's a cockpit view. You're free to join as long as you don't want to be in Team Lotus? :P

EDIT: And since you guys tested slipstream last night I assume you don't need to again? I'm gonna spend the next couple of nights doing the 9 hour enduro in the Schulze GT-R...Overkill ;) Probably won't be available for any testing till Friday night as I don't think you can exit mid race.

I tried it last night, you can only exit or suspend, as they call it, when you pit. So you have to do a stint. Quite looking forward to doing an endurance now!

Still need to check the OP to see the details and see what it's all about.

This GT-R is amazing, making a boring track enjoyable. Only 8 hours, 36 minutes and 1.817 seconds to go :P okay just let me know when you're decided and i'll add you to the OP 👍

Yes! So much fun driving it and on Ovals too! :D

Yeah, we don't need to do any more slipstream testing, it'll be fine. The Schulze GT-R is 2wd rather than 4wd if you didn't know, since 4wd wasn't allowed in the actual race it was entered in. You can still change the LSD for the front and rear, but not the power distribution, which has all the power going to the rear only.

If most/all of us plan on getting the DLC, we could maybe have a pre-season practice race at Spa if people want to.

Knelly is planning on getting a lot a track time in on road courses, starting on thursday (I believe), so that'll be private testing for Team Penske only. 👍

Speaking of Team Penske, we are currently under negotiation to bring in a much wanted third driver.

This drivers credentials are a cut above the rest and would make the already very strong team, a force to be reckoned with.

Further news as it develops.

HVM racing are beginning to think that the constructors title is a foregone conclusion in light of Team Penske's announcement.

Yeah i'm definitely getting the DLC, we'll organize a shorter race and just ask people to turn up if they can 👍

I probably won't be able to get the DLC until a dew days after, since my birthday is on the 24th of October :D

Penske's potential third driver probably wouldn't have won the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series without my disconnects from every race apart from one in the chase. :sly:

And maybe I wouldn't have got second, but there we go. Let's not give too much away though or he might be poached.

Can't wait to get under way, pre-season at Spa should be good fun. Had an idea for another 'US' racing series, although this probably won't be happening for a while, and definitely won't be as complex when it comes to rules as this one haha ;)

Anyway, I'm still waiting for a team mate to show up

Thanks for running my B-Spec drivers Knelly, I cashed them in with the 200% login bonus and gained a total of 1.8 million credits. 👍

If anyone here is on my friend list, set any b-spec drivers that you aren't using to online. I'll race your drivers to get you cash and b-spec experience (would help if you raced mine in return, since you're only allowed to put 1 of your own drivers in remote races).

I'll set mine on next time i'm online Joe, haven't done much remote racing as it wasn't making me much cash, but i'll give it a go 👍

I'm in, Tom! Don't have a Formula GT, though, but I'll buy one soon. I have the CR... ;)

So just put me on your list for the USA Series, but I don't know which car.

Edit: Can't enter... I'm not available Tuesday... sorry. :(

Yeah, you won't make much money if you're the only person racing your drivers, since it'll only let you have one of your own drivers in a remote race. It's a different story if someone else is racing your drivers, and with the 200% online login bonus for credits and experience, that makes it better still. (the 200% applies when you collect the credits/exp they have earned)

Yeah I get your point, and with the low seasonal rewards this could be really useful. They'll be up tomorrow night, i'll race yours aswell 👍

That's what team mates are for bruvva ;)

Great news.

Tom / LV / Joe. What are we saying about Drivers from different countries joining different schedules.

For example, US Driver running in UK schedule and vice versa and / or Non US / UK Drivers joing either schedule.

Happy to go with whatever the majority is but just so we are all clear really.

Does it interefere with the final race at the end?
Should Canadians join US, and Europeans join UK, for example?
Or should we allow anyone into either schedule to bring the numbers up and allow more to fit it in with their own preferred times?

Just some thoughts to clear up a potential scenario. 👍

I'll enter the USA series for Service Central/ Chip Ganassi.

PSN: mustardaddict
FGT: blue/white

I'll add you to the OP tonight when I get home mate, thanks for joining 👍

And to Knelly, I think it's just whichever series they've been racing in. For example, marchi is from Australia (i think) and he's racing in the UK series, therefore he'd represent the UK at the season end.

But nothings set in stone really, this can be organised properly when we get to that race in December.

EDIT: Added you Rich. Oh, and only just noticed that I applied for your team for the Sprint Cup Knelly, running in #11. Should be great 👍

You guys, I actually signed up for the Service Central team, but I can buy a red one if you want to keep that team with all open spots.
