What bug?

Well in TOCA and NATIONWIDE I lost about 3/4 power and felt like I had comfort tyres when I had racing tyres equipped for both. It seems to happen more frequently to people using some sort of force feedback steering wheel

As Tom said its gamebreaking.

EDIT: Jahgee that was fixed in the 2.02 update, which also caused the problem we have now

It only appears to affect rooms of Premiums, I see little problem in rooms of standard cars.

Really? That's amazing news for us, this may be the only series worth participating in for me in that case.

I know you rejected it, but the NASCAR GTPlanet Modified Tour is also all standard as well, so there is two that won't experience doomlag

In this case, my Grand-Am series might get off the ground also.

Will not fix black screens or lag but may reduce the speed madness and grip issues.

It's so far only affected me in the latest NASCAR race. The main problem for me is all the lag.

Yesterday I was in a practice race with the FGTC (I was hanging around for stuff we did afterwards), which uses the FGT and there was still bad lag. It was worse tonight though, when we messed around doing various things such as a couple of brief test races for the 90's DTM (all standard cars), same for car football and fugitive. For car football and fugitive, the lag meant that whenever I hit someone on my screen (the ball or the fugitive), I had actually completely missed them, even when I hit someone head on.

Personally, I'm for postponing it for a while until things clear up a bit.

Your FGT's will probably be affected. Two races have been red flagged for the FGTC now, its impossible to race fairly. Some laptimes are 5 seconds faster than is possible while some are 7 seconds slower. If PD doesnt fix this it may be the end of full rooms :(
You might get away with 10 racers đź‘Ž

In nationwide the lap times are usually 50.8-51.5 for a undrafted lap around daytona. normally hit around the 51.2 quite steadily. In tonight's race at the start I was only hitting 52.2's and then after a while I got 44.7's and even one 44.628(my speedo never went over 180 on that lap but smuffyafc said i was hitting around 205, 220, 190 in a glitchy way.) This patch needs to be fixed. Although after that I went back to normal speed and it was as if it made up for my slow start but that really isn't the point.

THEY NEED TO GET THIS FIXED OR I'LL JUST PLAY ANOTHER OF MY MANY GAMES WITHOUT SERVER ISSUES.

I GOT GREAT NEWS GUYS!
As of the v2.02 update, roof lights on the Gran Turismo Skyline GT-R (Pace Car) '01 now flash! This means that it stands out against crowd.

I may postpone until next week, after 3.0. Hopefully the servers will be fixed by then.

Practice race tonight anyway?

You mean tomorrow? :P Yeah i'll probably open a testing room at Indy around 10ish.

On another note, I was thinking of adding the new test track to the schedule. One more oval track would be great, but it would require everyone to buy the content (think it's going to be 3-4 dollars or a couple of pounds, a pretty trivial amount). I have to say the track enviroment looks pretty damn awesome and i'm well up for it, thoughts? đź‘Ť

Sorry to be dim Tom but I checked the news and must have missed the bit about the oval. Is it confirmed that it is definatley an oval?

From EU PS Blog "Featuring an oval track and a performance measurement mode" so yes :D

I think it has time change as well, if I recall correctly from the photos i've seen. It'll probably be a very long oval being a test track, maybe 4+ miles. High transmission settings and a draft-fest would be great fun there :P
