are we going to have day/night cycles? i cant remember if the 2005 layout allows it, no problem if not :)

I did one for these the other week, 24 laps, was brilliant, won it on final lap :D

I reserve a Ford Mk IV, watching this with interest.

I'm in, I want tot est the cars before I make a decision on which. But I'm in for sure :)

i dont believe it, i was doing the indy 300 race to win the jag and i was 1h45m through and my mates turned up to go for a curry, i paused it and went out.. came back everything off mother thought it needed turning off..

grr.

I'm too tired to have any practice sessions until the weekend. On another note. We have to have at least 8 participants for the event to be worth a damn. So sign up people! I dare you.

hopefully me jame and yourself are a deffinate..

im working on another 1 possibly 2 and im sure someone else would be up for it.

biggest problem is the cars tbh. takes 2 hours to get 1 car lol

had a go last night and in the rain (100% surface water) it was litteraly like driving on ice, lol in the dry i can manage consistant 3'56's in the wet i was over 40 seconds slower! lol

Im up for it andy. Should be good, hopefully with no problems. Let me know if people would like to practice.

A small update to the rules.

Participants are allowed to change the gear ratios and top speed of their cars. However, you may not alter the suspension.

So you have to race them with the stock setting without any changes?

Exactly. Gotta keep that classic feeling :)

Lets postpone the next practice session for tommorow. Will open room at 13.00GMT tommorow.

Imo tuning being prohibited is perfect because you dont have the possibility of somone being dishonest and changing something they shouldnt.

It's your call tho, its just my opinion.
