Yes this was a very good race for everyone who took part. Heathenpride, me a had a good challenge for 3rd. We had a couple of comings together, after I continued with a damaged car. After we both pitted I was able to break away, we both learned a lot, very good race. Concentration is the key.

One question I would like to ask is why when you play on line no mileage is recorded on your car. I started with 0 miles on car and when I went back to garage no miles recorded.

That happens sometimes, that it do not record the mileage, it also does it, if you go for a practice session with an car sometimes. I think its bug, hopefully PD will take notiched of it at some time though 👍

Indeed AnTiheLT, you pulled away from me in the last half of the race. It would appear as if the Ferrari is faster on the straights, and the Jaguar is slightly faster when cornering. Was frustrating to see the time go up by about 1 second between all the chicanes on the Mulsanne straight :D.
On top of that, the 2nd half of the race, my driving was fairly sloppy. The first 5 laps were epic though.

I agree that a racing series with these cars would be great. I'm planning on starting one up after christmas. I figured it would consist of a series of medium length races on different tracks, and then end with a long endurance race on Le Sarthe. Participants would have to pick one car to use throughout the entire series.

If you create an Series with the same cars, i would be happy to sign up 👍

And when all tuning is prohibited, it really comes down to pure driving skills, however i still think that we should be allowed to change the gear settings, so we can adjust it to the different tracks we are on. Also sounds good what you said about the races should be medium endurance and then finish it all up with one long endurance on Sarthe or maybe Nurburgring ? ;)

I did some practice with all 4 cars on Sarthe, and quickly found out that both of the Ford cars was around 4-6 sec slower than the Ferrari & Jaguar.

Reason why i ended up with the Ferrari, was because it did weighed a lot less than the Jag. So i believed that i would save some fuel & tire wear, compared to the more heavier Jag. But it was not the case at all. Already when my tires was down to 50% used i could see it on my lap times, and after my second pit stop, i tried not to go full throttle after some of the corners, and i think that helped a little bit. Also the cars gets very slippery when TC is off, but makes it much more realistic

Only problem with allowing tuning of any kind is people tweeking suspension settings etc, nobody would really know if you altered the suspension so its just unfair.
