Pit strategy? Fuel map? What weather did you have during your run?

You can go 3 laps on FM5, short shift at half bar, or you can go 2 laps full mega blast on FM1. So it's a 2 stop race for sure, but even better in case of La Sarthe, because of unpredictable weather conditions, you can easily adjust your strategy on the fly. And of course, an easy win, and an absolute blast to drive.

F40 is a big pile of something… can’t believe I’ve been reading about it for so long and saved my not so valuable credits and it’s so bad… Le Mans 700pp used to be a walk, including with the embarrassing Tundra SC430 and the F40 can’t even manage that… wish I could sell it back to the dealer :(
Like any turbo-laggy super car from that era the F40 needs to be driven in a certain way in order to be any good. Never let the revs drop too far down.

exact, spend some time to get a feel for it, indeed needs a certain way to be driven, and just prays yourself happy that you don't have the push the real clutch

Must confess I thought the F40 was a dream to use.

Must be because my thumbs have had an intense workout fine tuning and testing the RX-787 because the F40 just hugs the tarmac in the corners and only the tightest turns, those too that undulate (Watkins Glen Turn 10 - bottom of the hill), saw any stepping out of the rear.

You are doing something wrong, i'm guessing it's not the cars fault :)

So I matched your tune exactly on both pages except I can't get front down force down to 100. I've tried with and without spoilers.

How do you get front down force down to 100?

Also and I think because of this I have to run full ballast and gimp power just a bit more that you.

That said I ran a test lap on full power FM1 and caught the front of the field by the end of lap one and had fuel enough for another lap so it's pretty good...

Remove the rear diffuser, that will lower the PP quite a bit and you will be able to go to 100 front DF. I used only the rear wing, front splitter and side skirts in special parts. Then you will be able to match the exact tune :)

Where do you do that? Body shop? And thanks much!

I’m assuming that‘s a 7 Lap run? Hot damn that’s fast.

I'm waiting second Challenger R/T '70. Because I swapped engine to first one.
Anyway my collection is done 433/433, and 700+ cars are in the garage
