It didn't make sense to me that the Longtail is, or rather was more expensive than the Le Mans winning GTR.

The prices of the cars in LCD are reflections of real market prices of same cars in the auction houses like Barrett Jackson etc..

I know, and I'm certainly not complaining because I bought the car in the games early days so nearly half-price compared to now but I feel even in 2022 if the '95 GTR was auctioned in real life, it would have fetched over 20mn. Even the standard road cars cost that much, if not more. I wonder what one of the six LM's would cost, given 4/6 likely will never be sold (3 with the Sultan of Brunei and the prototype with McLaren). Rarest, most special and most beautiful F1's there are, those 6.

With GT7’s cap being 20m credits for the cost of a given car. Otherwise, the Ferrari 250 GTO would be worth over twice that in-game!

They just had a bunch of Trans-Ams in the UCD in a variety of colours too.

We'll find out for sure in a couple of days when the slot rotates, but I'm pretty sure this is just how the special pick slot is going to work now, and in both dealerships the car in that slot will be offered in five colours (when there are five colours to offer it in).

It last appeared 12/8/2024. If it follows the normal rotation period it should come back the first week of March. It could also appear as a special pick at anytime.

Special picks do not take into account regular rotation, so cars may pop up outside of their usual rotation, for example if there is a weekly that uses this category of car.

The full Special Pick/Hot Car logic, as of the current update, is:

• There is an "11th" slot (31st in the UCD) that is just a separate rotation, it is divorced from the regular rotation and could be anything.
  • As of the latest update, when this is a road car it can be offered in 2-5 colours. This is the Fairlady Zs and the 1992 NSX right now.
• If an update adds a new car to a dealership, it'll be a Hot Car for a couple of weeks.
  • Not in the LCD currently, but the EF Civic is currently this in the UCD
• If an update has a new Extra Menu, the cars in it will be Special Picks for a couple of weeks to allow people to collect them and get the rewars.
  • This is the three Group C cars right now.
• If the Weekly Challenges require a car (or are themed around a set of cars), they will go in stock as Special Picks on the Thursday for one week. This is both for special events (the 155 shows up for the DTM event) and for certain regular events (they put the F40 and F50 in when Ferrari Circuit Challenge shows up, or the kei cars go in the UCD for Lightweight K-Cup).
  • If this is for a one-make road car event, and the road car only has a few colours (eg NA Roadster), all the colours are occasionally offered.
• If a GTWS event (only GTWS, not dailies or TT) requires an LCD car or set of cars, they'll sometimes make those a Special Pick so people can practice for the event in lobbies.
  • Realistically this is only ever likely going to be the '90s Gr.2 cars, the Group C cars, and the old F1 cars.
