Anyway, tomorrow we will see if Amar was right (for once) or not. I prefer to see facts for myself instead of believing in those adjectives he likes to use, and I don't know about you guys but I want to see actual quality and quantity instead of a long post of him praising Kaz.
Right, so the Spa DLC was clearly and totally a lie, am I right?
I like all the drama surrounding the
"Oh no, PD lied, disaster, oh noes, never buy GT again", is amusing because if someone were to be all dramatic about it, they'll go ahead and buy a PC and rFactor or go and buy Forza. Yet no one does it, they just bitch (sometimes is well justified bitching, mind) but is mostly pointless bitching.
BTW the McLaren license is owned by
Simraceway, so the whole McLaren can't be done because of a thing called "exclusivity" which works in a similar fashion of the Porsche License for NFS games. So there is that too, I would love to see something like Adelaide or Interlagos but there is so much to get for
free, which is part of the course, people would flip 🤬 if they capitalize it, and honestly there is as much Senna Content as there was Red Bull content (even more so, PD never did bother with either the RB6 or the A1 Ring).
It hasn't been a year after release, it barely have been six months after release, I won't say is the perfect game but is not totally broken as people seem to say (Endurance and tire glitch, yeah those are game breakers but is nowhere near close to the same degree of Broken as BF4 nowadays, yet people keep jumping over the issue).
I don't mind criticism, but when it gets out of hand and
so dramatic I can't help but wonder if they are doing that to themselves. Like today for example, not a single thing have been said from PD yet they will get all the 🤬 if nothing happens, if Amar is trolling so be it but is rather amusing the level of hype and hype related hate that such claims take, and all the interaction surrounding it.
The game can be sold, the features were announced and the time frames were set, if a year passes and I don't see the track editor I would sell my GT6 copy, if it doesn't then I'll keep it and mess about with the editor. Is that simple, people were automatically bound to hate the game because of how GT5 was broken and hyped.
Me, I'm biased but I'm not stupid, I bought GT6 for what it was, I play it nearly every day and it has been a good source of entertainment during the last few months, it has crashed my PS3 like 3 times in total during my ownership, while something like BF4 (which still DARES to release DLC) breaks every time I change server and load the third map
EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. That is a broken game yet people doesn't bitch as much as people do here, not saying to thank PD or praise them (the game has some serious flaws, even if it functionally works) but the kind of bitching that follows is pretty ridiculous.
Fed up with the game, sell it, if you didn't like it when it was released then why did you bought it in the first place, and if you know PD that well you would have seen it coming, so there is that.
Sometimes is noise, if there were justifiable basis for criticism I would understand it, PD and Sony are not the injured party because they probably don't care, they would care if a used game rolls around shelves halving new units, but as so far is people buying the game then going all mad about it, it makes no sense really.
