I noticed today that if you are in chase camera, the gear shifts through the dual sense are less noticeable...you know 'cause you're not attached to the car there. Nice little touch.

Also, the fact that the weather is different every time...although I do wish the track would stay wet longer.

The Jeep and it's Axe. I use an axe everyday for work, and now I wish I used jeep everyday too. Love driving the Jeep, especially on dirt. After a hard mission or disaster of a race, I'll go get in the Jeep and either take it to Nordschleife or a dirt track and find my inner calm.

Funnily enough when I was googling for an example to show someone it had it showing on the HUD in a Sport screenshot, so yes apparently so. did you have to enable it on Sport? Cos I could swear in two years of playing that I never noticed it once

Probably doesn't say much for my general awareness but by the by, it's still a little thing I love, now that I've noticed.

Being able to edit liveries that other people created. Most people don’t think of the number board that the game applies to your car when racing in sport mode. My ocd is relieved.

Yeah this is a big feature in Scapes for me. If only we can also add those in race photos, especially for rally races.

Two quick things I just noticed:

The rear view changes depending on what camera view you are using

Garage, Scape movies - Love these and there are so many of them to watch. Change to your favourite car, pick scape movie and just sitting back and chill to the relaxing music watching the best car p*rn.

Also in garage, changing tyres in car settings actually shows the correct tyres on garage screen and also in scape movies as well.

I know it has been said before but the handling and immersion whilst in the dualsense is out of this world. Literally game changing.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but I have to commend Polyphony for a great change they added in Sport mode daily races, race A for example seems to carry on in a similar spirit of that to GTS but the specific thing I love is that despite specifying what car(s) are allowed in the race you’re finally allowed to bring the car from the garage. Your own car with your mileage and liveries of your choosing.

Keeping that and allowing people to rent the car if they miss it is also a nice feature.

The freakin’ info displays of the times you did a Time Trial. Okay, so, I ran time attacks on the 16/42022. I ran a 1:07.311 in the Civic FK8. Just then, I ran a 1:06.621. What I didn’t know, when I hovered over the line For each car, the Temp, precip, wind direction and wind speed display for the day I set the time! I did not take note of this before.

On the 16/4, temp was 22 C, precip 0, wind SSW, wind speed 3.1 m/s. Today, temp 27 C, precip 0, wind NE, Wind speed 4.1 m/s. Cool stuff.

Mods you make to your car are reflected in the avatar of the car.
So if you change your wheels or livery, or add aero etc, those changes are shown in the status bar that runs along the top of the screen (where it shows what your currently selected car is), likewise any menu or table where your car is shown, it is shown with all mods.

Just yesterday I noticed that when driving in Cockpit View like I always do and you go alongside an opponent and look to the left or right, your opponent turns his head too to see where you are.
Almost like he’s also trying to keep awareness and not hitting you.
Very cool

The clock in the MR2 keeps actual time in-game so you can predict when the sun will set or rise! My 45 minute lap around nurburgring was wild!

Don’t know if already mentioned, but in the latest porsche gt3 road car, there is a clock on the dashboard. When time is sped up, the seconds hand move faster… I mean, seriously what an amount of detail.

And the variability of skies, atmosphere and lighting is just jaw-dropping every single time.

Is it just me or tracks are probably the best tracks in the gaming world? I can play games with better physics but this amount of details is nowhere to find. It's completely breathtaking.

Custom Races. They’re not perfect, but being able to select any car this time, it’s such a joy. Just to do an all AMG GT & SLS grid, with the road and GT3 cars, plus Me using the Safety Car to “start” the race, I love this feature. It can be the best and some times the worse feature in this game. Glad PD finally programmed it in.
