To each their own of course, but why would you even consider a G29? It's pretty much a 200 dollar wheel for 450.
Money's not a problem here, but obviously it's a matter of spending a less as possible.

It'll cost me around 450 USD to get a G29 with the shifter (Plus taxes), I know the Force Feedback hardware is not the best but knowing pleople who own the G27 I can tell that they're good quality materials and I also know that the Logitech hardware is really reliable.

On the other hand, it'd cost me just under 700 USD to get the T300 with the pedal set and a shifter, and I don't really want to take a gamble with TM's realiability.

How about none if TMs reportedly have sketchy reliability and the G29 is just a con. That's what I'm doing.
Or i should go build a gaming PC then buy/use a G27 to play Real Sim Racing Games instead of GT...

Problem solved, No need to buy Online subscription ether and now you could play games in 4K with 60 FPS.

If you have the money, time and patience, it's probably the better option. Me? Having dropped money on a PS4 and XB1, as well as having limited space in my house to actually put a gaming PC where I don't have to haul my wheel stand and G25 everywhere, I'm pretty much screwed.

Not that I give a damn about sim racing anyway.

The only Real Sim Racing Game on PC is Live for Speed,:banghead:
If the only Sim racing game on PC is LFS then there's none in Consoles...

$$$$$$$$$

Lots of it.

What about 1080P?

Then why do you even need a G25 anyway? Unless of course games like Need For Speed...

But yeah, i don't have a lot of money for a PC ether, i guess i should wait for couple years until prices drop (if this ever happened).

I've had my G25 since 2008 and I've used it plenty on Gran Turismo on PS3 (and Grid Autosport for a bit) and will continue to use it until it dies on me completely.

Of course I haven't tried them yet, but according to reviews it seems to be that case that the pedals are really low quality.

Because I loved the feel of the G27 and I'm happy to pay a premium for PS4 compatiability, although I won't stop looking at the T300. The major downside of the T300 for me is the pedals, and I like a good pedal feel.

Iv had a g27 and a t300 and the t300 blows it out the water and you can use the g27 pedals with the t300, its a no brainer if you ask me

I forgot about the adaptors, but I also don't quite trust Thrustmaster's reliability quite yet.

I bet that Gran Turismo on PS4 will have better physics than modern PC sims.

Although I'd love for this to be true, it's not gonna happen. Even rFactor from 2005 has better physics than GT6. GT7 will improve for sure, but it still won't equal what PC has 10 years ago. PD has the burden of always needing to appeal to the masses because it's a console exclusive, and making it super hardcore just isn't going to sell.

I still love GT for what it is, but I have given up on them ever making a fully hardcore physics. Their forte has always been graphics and car/track count 👍

It is valid for rFactor2,Game Stock Car Extreme,Project CARS.

You forgot Assetto Corsa, RRRE and iRacing.

g27, g29 and the xbox version is not worth 400+€/$ it simply is not. The g27 have sky-rocketed in price here in Sweden to about 400 €, I guess it is to prepare us consumers for the higher prices of the new wheels and prevent the consumers from buying the older g27 wheels that are still in the loop that many would have bought instead of the newer Logitech wheels. I recently got one of the newer g27 and it is a lower quality ffb wheel compared to the old g27.

In the reboxed g27 set, ops I mean g29/g9 you don't even get the shifter in the price, like whaaaat??? .. And after playing with an old t500 for a weekend my "new" g27 felt like a cheapo toy. People that throw that amount of money on such an old and underwhelming piece of hardware don't know the value of money.

For the the hard working masses this means a harder time. People must learn that this is voting with their wallet and this allows more of this kind of crap to get released on the market. More companies will follow suit when they see that it works.

Who wants overpriced crap and all the good stuff will cost an arm and a leg if this continues. Look for example what Pre-ordering have done to the gaming industry. Game publishers get the cash after a CG trailer and releases a product that is poorly done which is far from what have been promised... So please don't vote for/buy this crappy ffb wheel. :P

The gaming industry is in a mess. The game devs are giving us unfinished games and that's just wrong. We shouldn't have to keep waiting for games to be fixed via updates.

The amount of DLC and micro-transactions is also reaching silly levels. Something needs to be done. :(

Except nobody has the balls to stand up to the industry, no matter how many times the media try to call them out.

What we need is a game that is so catastrophically awful (ET Atari 2600 levels) that it causes the industry to suffer it's second crash to reset everything.

A more desperate option would be for everybody to just stop buying games and accessories on all platforms; console and PC, but that isn't going to happen.

Well, I'm starting by taking the "none of the above" option when it comes to getting a FFB wheel on my Xbone. All wheel options for that system are garbage in one way or another, but the MFG's think $400 is the sweet spot MSRP. And for $400, I'd expect any gaming product to have stellar reliability and rock solid performance, but the MCFFB wheel and the TX doesn't meet this simple standard.

Now Logitech is releasing a rebranded wheel for double the price of the wheel it's based on, and that's with out the shifter set included... Um, NO! I'm not getting anything. I just can't justify spending $400 for what Logitech is offering, and the other choices are just broken.

Not disagreeing with you, but it wasn't just Logitech. All the wheel manufacturers used this next gen crap to raise the prices of their products. Some more obvious than others, but they all done it.

If anyone have change to test G29 could he do quick test for me?
Test is steering radius change still there?

It hasn't been released yet, so I doubt that many will get their hands on it for a while, unless someone gets hold of a test wheel.

Hopefully the different steering angles are still available as per the G27, but Logitech never really made anyone aware of this feature with the G27, so maybe they haven't bothered doing it on the G29.
