Ended up taking 2 out of 3 from K.C.. next up, the Twins are coming into Cleveland for a weekend set.If the Tribe can play like they have been as of late,we'll be right up close to the top.

Looking (hoping) for Toronto the beat up on the ChiSox,while K.C. and Detroit are going at it as well,we could make a move up.It's going to be an interesting weekend for the A.L. Central.

Tonight, the Astros will send F. Paulino to the mound... while the Brew Crew will bring Yovani Gallardo to the mound. Milwaukee may have a Gallardo, but we got to overpower them... like a Murciélago. Astros have to win these NL Central games to show they can be a contender. You can't be a contender in your division if you can't win in your division. That's why the Astros need to play with purpose in the NL Central.

Good luck to your teams! By the way, good luck in that friendly rivalry between Prosthetic's San Francisco Giants and TS' Arizona Diamondbacks. This three-game tilt isn't at beautiful Pacific Bell Park (I think that's what it's called nowadays), but at equally-lovely Chase Field. Have at it, boys! ;)

Pac Bell was its original name :) Its AT&T now.

On a stormy night here in Houston, my Astros led 2-0 over the Brewers... until the Astros just gave up and allowed Milwaukee to win 5-2. Hope this mediocrity doesn't continue into the Saturday and Sunday games...

Molina really shook up the D-Backs tonight! Davis actually pitched pretty damn good tonight. That was until Molina started swinging the bat! Man I love it when he is hot...

Giants win 5-1, Lincecum pitched a full 8 innings with 12 strikeouts.

Davis was pretty good, he only gave up the solo shots to Renteria and Molina, but the bullpen went and screwed it up and the offense wasn't giving Doug run support, poor guy had to go and get a run for himself!

The Giants have only given up 3 runs in the last 6 starts ;)

Right now, my Astros recently lost the lead as the Brewers lead 9-8, Top of the 11th. I'll edit this post to chat about how my boys did against the Brew Crew in an effort to force a rubber game.

Giants continue their hot streak with a 5-3 win over Arizona. But Johnson didn't pitch very good giving up 2 runs, 7 walks, 81 pitched in 3 innings. Gave up a 2 run homer to Justin Uptin who has been looking for his bat which he might of found. But Winn helped out with a 2 run homer, and Renteria almost went yard again hitting a double off the top of the wall in straight away center.

Giants now have won 5 in a row and have a 8-8 record. I'm getting good vibes right now, our whole team are starting to get into hot streaks. Hopefully we can start hitting more home runs, we still only have 10 I think. But, we have only played in pitcher friendly parks so far. (Arizona, LA, SF and SD)

Tomorrow Cain (2-0) and Garland (2-1) will go head to head in the final game in the desert. Then we go back home and face the Dodgers. Hopefully we can continue playing good then, we have a 6-2 record at home so it could call for a good series. Also our pitching will be a lot better then it was the last time we saw the Dodgers.

I will be attending both Tuesday and Wednesday's games!! We had tickets plus someone from my dads work gave us a pair. So I'm pretty pumped for back to back games against our rivals.

We're off on our road trip, but not without taking care of Milwaukee 3-2. Jose Valverde actually held his own ground trying to close out for my Astros. Russ Ortiz is now 2-0 for my Astros as he was the winning pitcher. Give the Save to J. Valverde (his second). Manny Parra was the losing pitcher. He's now 0-4.

Up next for my Astros:
* Mon-Wed: at Cincinnati
* Fri-Sun: at Atlanta <<< Astros at Braves Saturday afternoon on MLB on FOX
* Mon and Tue: at Washington D.C.

Tonight on ESPN: Yankees at Red Sox!

Tribe was able to salvage 1 game and avoid a sweep at the hands of the Twins by winning today 4 to 2.

Up next a 3 game homestand with the Red Sox.

Speaking of the Red Sox, they're going on right now. As of this post, the Red Sox has one guy on with a nice lead-off single. No score, Bottom of the 1st. #15 for the Red Sox is batting with a 2-2 count with no outs.

Wilson was unhittable going into yesterdays game... Both Cain and Garland pitched great, but thanks to a huge 3 run homerun by Sandoval (Who went 4-4) put the Giants ahead 4-1. But Wilson gave up the lead! He just didn't have it yesterday. So the Giants are now below .500 again and lost their 6 game winning streak. But we play the Dodgers for 3 days here in SF!! And I'm going to 2 of the games :) I'm so ready. I'm going to be getting Sanchez and Lincecum I think.

Astros hit the road today as they take on the Cincinnati Reds at their lovely ballpark. It's a three-game set. Cueto(?) will start as the pitcher while Roy Oswalt looks for his first win... again. He's 0-2 so far.

Enjoy tonight's games!

Going to the Red Sox,are they hot or what ?

They just completed a 3 series sweep at home (9 wins in a row), wow !!!!

We have to play these guys for 3 games :nervous:,hoping we can break this streak they are on.

Astros just won! We've now won the last 16 of 17 games in Cincinnati. Roy Oswalt got a no decision as Chris Sampson became the winning pitcher. I'm assuming Cueto was the loser.

I think that makes it 8 down, 82 to go now! :)

Giants beat the Dodgers last night 5-4. Wilson was pissed about his blown save yesterday and came back and struck three guys in a row in the 9th.

Wow... blowing a save, then striking out the side? That's a great way to vent your anger!

Tonight's pitching match for my Astros in Cincinnati: Wandy Rodriguez (HOU) vs. Aaron Harang (CIN). Enjoy tonight's games!

Had a great battle between Cliff Lee and Tim Wakefield last night. Both left the game with the score tied at 0.Our closer Kerry Wood comes on in the 9th,gives up a single,a walk, and to top it off a 3 run dinger by Jason Bay off of a 99 mph meatball thrown by Wood.Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr, ended up getting 1 of the runs back in the bottom half of the 9th,but came up short,3 to 1

I do believe that is 11 games in a row that has been won by the BoSox,I think that may put them up in front of Toronto now.

On another note :
Allstar balloting has begun at Progressive Field already.A little bit early I think, were only 20 games into the season. ?????

Astros led 8-1 in the Top of the 6th. Despite a few meaningless runs on two bad Astros' pitches, we still won 8-3. We still can't look ahead to the [at] Atlanta series (including one game to be shown on FOX) this weekend. We just have to close out this series as best as we can.

That's now 9 wins. Only 81 more wins to prove Cecil Cooper's prediction right!

D-Backs got hit around by the Cubs last night, losing 11-3, but the Snakes bounced back today taking the rubber match 10-0, Doug Davis pitched a 2 hit shut out!

Tribe knocked the BoSox off their 11 game winning streak last night, won 9 to 8. See what we can do tonight.Tomorrow we take a day off then head into Detroit for a weekend set with the Motor City Kittys. (Detroit Tigers),you guys already knew that name. 👍

The Reds earned a 1-hitter (Tejada, Top 1st) win against my Astros, 3-0. Astros will take Thursday off and will head to Atlanta to take on the Braves in this weekend series. Atlanta's usually a tough ticket. I'll have to hope my boys do well in the ATL. But really, the Florida Marlins are doing quite well in the NL East. The NL East may come down to Florida vs. Philadelphia.

Giants creamed the Dodgers the second night I was their 9-4. But it it was 7-0 until the 8th inning when Timmy lost some control of the ball and the Dodgers got a 3 run rally. (Timmy alowwed one and our Relievers alowwed 2 more, but Timmy got the runs on him)

Molina had 4 RBIs (Homerun, triple and single!) a double away from the cycle. And Renteria went 4-5... Sandoval made some great plays at 3rd but was taken out early for groin tightness

My Astros will try to tame the Atlanta Braves in the ATL. The pitching match will be Mike Hampton (HOU) vs. Derek Lowe (ATL).
