Hey Mets, just throw in the towel, Miami has your number and we don't know how to play baseball.

Reds take the Cardinals into extras at 4-4, naturally give up 7 runs immediately (and give St. Louis their first extra innings game win of the season). Why am I not surprised? :grumpy:

Ready for more series? No Interleague series here. Here are the series kicking off today:

-- NATIONAL LEAGUE ---
* Milwaukee at Miami
* Cincinnati at Chicago Cubs
* Atlanta at San Diego
* Arizona at Los Angeles Dodgers

--- AMERICAN LEAGUE ---
* Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Baltimore
* Boston at Tampa Bay
* Cleveland at Texas
* Toronto at Chicago White Sox
* Detroit at Kansas City
* Houston at Seattle

The fun begins at 7:00 PM EDT for the early games. The late game is my Houston Astros at the Seattle Mariners, which begins in the 10:00 PM EDT timeframe. Good luck to all of your team(s) with the new series.

I am & I'm glad! I saw they went into extra inning, but didn't know Birds actually pulled it off. :embarrassed:

Astros have lost AGAIN. They lost 3-2 in Seattle. I can only hope the Astros go on some hot streak and actually show some promise for a change...

Damn, Dodgers are such freakin sore losers. Guess all the frustration of us kicking their ass for a while got released tonight. We better win this game.

Or not.

So after a season-high five game winning streak, the Phillies have lost four in a row. And counting. To the Brewers and the Twins. The only possible thing I can see as a positive is that Cole Hamels avoided racking up his tenth loss of the season. Yeah, it's that bad.

Seattle won 4-0 over my Astros. Losing ways continue. We are stuck on (and content with) losing. Next thing you know it, we'll probably once again finish with the worst record in baseball unless the Miami Marlins don't get on some hot streak or something.

Woe is us... the Houston Astros.

They will find a way to blame Quentin again. **** seems to follow Grienke a lot. One thing is for sure Marky Mark is still on the needle, he was raging.

Man, it must suck to be in LAst pLAce.

Pretty bush league Kennedy to throw at two guys heads if you ask me.

The first one it's hard to say what happened there. The second one, I think he was just throwing in his direction and it just happened to go towards his upper shoulder. In any case, one more game and we're out of there.

It seems like Major League Baseball wants to go down under. There is apparently a report that there will be a two-game series to be played in beautiful Sydney, Australia to start the 2014 season. Which teams will need to travel at least 7K+ miles southwest to Australia? The Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Here is more information:

If you think Australia has no idea what baseball is about, think again. I actually seen on MLB Network once the championship game between two professional baseball teams in Australia. So it isn't like MaLB in Australia is like the NFL in London. I remember once Opening Night was started in Japan a few years ago. How you like Major League Baseball in Australia to start next season?

And?

Anyways... So far in game 2 of this series the umpire has been dreadful. Crawford bounced one to the pitcher who threw it the shortstop who was about half a foot from either side of second base but clearly never touched second called out though then Crawford was called out at first despite the fact he was more then a step ahead of the ball... The umpire didn't even ATTEMPT to get close to play, he was to lazy. Absolutely dreadful... If anyone else was that bad at their job they would be fired... Not umpires.

Corbin tonight. Looking forward to his 10th win.

Oh and found the win/loss number for us against LA. In the last 20 games, 16-4. :sly:

The Astros somehow decided to play baseball in the 9th Inning. Seattle scored in the 8th inning to make it 1-0. After that, somebody must have ticked off the Astros because we entered Beast Mode. We had a Limit Break. Long story short- we avoided getting swept by hanging 6 runs on Seattle in the 9th Inning to win 6-1. Oh, and this win snaps our six-game losing streak.

My Astros will be off tomorrow. But, our next series is interesting- we're hosting the Chicago White Sox... a rematch of the 2005 World Series! I only hope none of those games last seven hours... and I hope my boys beat the White Sox.

Congratulations to all other winners, including the Mets' big win at home vs. St. Louis.

"Limit Break" is just a term from Final Fantasy 7, when you been taking too much damage and decide to take out your frustration on your enemies. That's what I meant.

Still, I'm surprised my Astros didn't just play dead heading into the 9th Inning. Great win for us.

We've won like some ungodly amount of games against them for I'm not sure how long. We own them pretty much.

So you're saying that the Diamondbacks having past success against the Dodgers is why there was a brawl? Really?

Got to be frustrating for them, no? Losing 17 of the last 21 games to us. I know I would be. If you don't see that, well then I'm not sure what to say.

Losing is frustrating, but if you think that is why the two teams got into a brawl then you're insane. That is hands-down, the worst logic I've ever heard in regards to a baseball fight.

Well it doesn't help. I wasn't saying it's the sole reason.

And I disagree.

It's not even close to being PART of the reason. Dude you are out of your mind.

You don't think this had anything to do with it?

Get out of here with that "frustrated about losing" crap. :dunce:
