Alrighty...

In planning for race 2, I have a number of things to address.

The members that were for whatever reason unable to start the race, are there any issues for next week? The members in question are: Fishyjuice (who I saw during practice, so I'm assuming you were booted?), crispychicken49 (who I believe was having internet problems, but is expecting to continue participating), Coolfiat (who I spoke with for this week, but I'm just checking for next week), and White_Zeal (who I haven't heard from at all).

If these members in question are still interested in participating, simply let us know and you'll be able to continue. If you guys are having issues but would like to participate in the future, please also let us know. If anyone wants to drop, let us know sooner rather than later so we can find replacements.

The race had a great turnout, but I'd love to have all 16 racers in there!

Also... whoever on Subaru (Stark-Reid Racing) got first, how many credits did you earn?

Race 2 information has been posted. Unless people want to have a lower PP race, I think this is our basement. I wanted to do a 275, but while I was checking every manufacturer for compliance, there was just no way (unless my PP values are wrong?), so we ended up at 350.

All of the details have been posted in the second post and they have a BLUE header line.

One important detail to note, Team BMW is now Team BMW/Mini so that they may better comply with this race. So long as no one has any issues with that, they'll be allowed to utilize Mini as a co-manufacturer for the remainder of the series.

If anyone is in need of a specific car, let me know as I have about 650 unique cars.

As always, I welcome your questions, comments, and concerns.

Time to dust off the Ford Ka... lol!

jesse208 (1st) got 140,000c and i (2nd) got 102,000c

I don't really know what happened, I kept getting the "There is nothing wrong, but try again later". That only has happened when my internet's all ****ed up, but I could race afterwards. I kept trying to re-connect, but to no avail.

i dont really think subaru has a car that can goto 350 either then the 360, (13hp)

I can get my Subaru 360 to over 350 with modifications? Or did I read everything wrong? I even tested it at the track in the wet on comfort tires with everything but the turbo to be sure it could handle the hill climbs from a dead stop in all cases, which it did with no problems at all.

Sparky, I have an A2 that I will send you in a few minutes.

Renault_Glenzo, yes, do so... so everyone is aware, I'm adding you all to my "grinder lists". I normally remote race pretty often, but these past 2 weeks I've been unable to set it up. So... bear with me...

Remember people, not every manufacturer is going to have a strong contender for every PP level. You may have a superior driver, and you may have a superior tune, but the car may just not be competitive. The goal is to compare the manufacturers apples to apples (or PP to PP LOL). You get the race from the event coordinator, and then you goto the manufacturer and say "this is what we need" and they give you what they have to best contend, it may be their flagship car, it may be a Ford Ka... but that's what you've got to work with.

All of that said, I knew there'd be some complaints at this PP level, but we wanted to utilize all of the cars as best we could. Having all of my fiat 500's tuned (almost the same as the 360) I think the 360 can easily be made to be competitive, and if it proves to be a weak point for Subaru, then this is a great time for it because it will tighten up the points race which should make for some great racing over the following 4 weeks (not counting this one).

Remember folks... we'll be racing Ford Ka's. I think the only teams that are breathing easy at this level are Mazda, Nissan, and Honda, and thats merely because they have cars to choose from.

That would be great. Tried 10 times or so refreshing the dealership, managed to buy 3 more Audi cars, but A2 didn't show up. If you can send me an A2 tell me what car you need in return.

Actually, now that you mention it... if you happen to have a Ford Ka and you want to send it to my teammate Lancifer2882 that'd be great! If not though... don't worry about it... just remote race some of the guys in the races here and everyone will be happy!

I just updated the second post for this race again to add that the air restrictor/engine power limiter is not allowed. It states it in the rules of the first post, but I figured I'd clarify with specificity.

Hopefully that didn't get missed and no one was running with the engine limiters during the last race.

Any questions, ask here or PM me and we'll handle it...

Looks like the scoobies had there cars dialed in! good race!
I did have an issue connecting to your room Eivl, I had to go in through Fishyjuice's room to connect, very strange, so hopefully it isn't like that next race.

Also I can not make it for this Saturdays race, So hopefully you can find a sub for Team BMW/Mini

Haha... I JUST messaged one of the reserves to be ready for this week. Looks like he'll be put in!

Thanks for the heads up Taisan. Do you anticipate being around for the future?

no complaints here...thats part of the reason this series interested me so much...the wide range of cars we would be using :)

Will there be a race were we are gonna use touring/rally cars or similar on top my head I reckon every manufactor has one or two quality cars they could run in such a race? I am very much looking forward to this slow car race be more about perfect lines etc then raw car speed

I suspect that we'll see a high PP race where everything is allowed, ie racing mods, race cars, rally cars, etc.

I dont really mind which pp it might not suit us as much as others but thats half the challenge/fun but a pp race around 650/700 would be a good topend race

Ive yet to really set a proper lap yet. I'll be on wednesday to friday night trying few cars an setups so might see you guys on there looking forward to this one

I suppose that when you say weather = variable, you are going to choose the Eiger change weather option? If not please let me know.
