Impressive. If I love your work over ugly cars, I guess you can imagine how I love this car now :D. The sunset tone is really beautiful, and I specially like the color fading of the sky (Simply as a detail).

Get well soon Mog!!👍

I never noticed this when you first posted it, sorry! Thanks for the kind wishes, I'm slowly getting better now. 👍

So much so I can update again!

Ford GT LM Race Car @ New York
I know what you're thinking....a typical New York shot. But I only used this location because it was part of my CCCL entry! Except this one is much more heavily edited, as you can see. The cleanup and blur are far from perfect but I'm pleased with it overall. I like the colours on this one a lot, but the blur came out surprisingly well in the end too as the opacity of it is different in different parts of the image. Anyway, enough blabbering here it is;

I hope you like it guys. Sorry for the lakc of updates, that has been due to my food poisoning! :ill:

I haven't commented here in awhile sorry, I must say, you have some more brilliant updates.

I really like the STi drift shot, the colours look great imo. Very different too and I always enjoy good drift shots. :D

I was blown away by the S2000 shot, that is awesome. It has been saved to my drive, that is how much I like it. The colours once again are superb, great blur and clean up too.

I am loving the GT shot, great entry in the CCCL too. Colours once again are very impressive. I like how you change your style for each shot, keeps things fresh and interesting. The blur is looking very nice, changing the opacity of the blurs really changes the shot for the better imo. I am always doing it now.

Anyway, great updates as always. I love your work, keep it up but look after yourself too. Don't work too hard and I hope you get better soon. 👍

And if you have the time, please comment in my gallery. I would love to hear what you think of what I have been up to. :)

"A typical New York shot" should not be bad. In fact, this is not a typical photo, it's a Mog Photo. For me is a top notch work, it doesnt matter if it has a two wrong pixels. The overal look is superb, the tone, the lighting, the subtle glow of bonet headlights, the bright details of chromed parts, the variable depth blur... It's plenty of professional big and little things.

Could be a lot of NY photos, but not like your. This is extended to the rest of personal work. But please, put a watermark or nick in all of your photos. I'm adding them to my GTP compilation and I won't know who was the creator. And they can be stolen by unknown people...

Glad your poisoning is leaving now 👍 (I though I could use your standby to win some comp... hehe, just joking)

Thankyou for all of your feedback, Drift. 👍 I have commented upon your latest update already but once I feel 100% I'll make sure to keep up with your updates.

Thankyou for all of your kind words Alex! I've not added my name to shots for a while now because I'm never happy with that I add onto them. I'm trying at the moment to come up with a single, simple logo that reflects me and will represent me without showing my name. :)

I love your shot Moglet it is very clean and shows a great sensation of speed:tup:

p.s glad you're feeling better!:yuck:

What a surprise: a Ford GT in New York. You obviously took that picture for the cccl competition (like i did) and edited it a little...
Very nice shot. I really like the colours in it. The fact that it looks dark on the left and right of the car makes it stand out a lot more. Like it wants to jump out of the picture. Cleanup is also very nicely done. The headlights look really good now. The noise effect you were talking about in my gallery looks cool. 👍

PS: Glad you only had a food poisoning and I wish you all the best to get healthy from it as soon as possible.

Oh yeah, this heavily edited shot is crazy!!! The speed is fantastic, and the style is unique. "Let the King of New York pass!!!"

Very sweet blur you got there, not too less, not too much, great job on that. However, the front bumper doesn't really seems cleaned up to me. Besides that this is a stunning shot:tup:

Sometimes Moglet sometimes......I wish that I could change the rules of CCCL just once to 2.0 Rules so then that thing can enter (actually I am planning on doing something special for Week 10 but shhh don't tell Ray). Seriously, that shot is way better than any of my shots. Great work.
Sorry to hear about the food poisoning but get well soon!

Awesome work again, Moglet.

Except the bumper not being clean, there's absolutely nothing to point at this shot. The magenta tone suits it perfectly, the different blurs you used are spot on, and the camera angle with the car that close really gives a in-your-face feeling that makes it all shine.
The buildings farther not being blurred is one of the things that makes it unique, it's not at all an ordinary NY shot. Congrats on this one! 👍

Glad you're better now, but stilll food poisoning really sucks.

The Chase
Just a quick one this time, I was thinking about this for my recent 2.0 entry and someone suggested I should put it in my gallery. It's basically my contest entry reworked so that the S2000 has a real headlight.

It looks a bit weird IMO due to the photo I took it from but it's definitely better than what was there before!

It looks really great, but it still does not have realism compared to real life, because of these things:

*Some of the shadows, which don't have the shapes to make it look real.
*The Centre part of the headlight

However it is still a gob smacking update Moglet.

the headlight somewhat reminds me of those nascar headlight stickers they put on their cars. but then again, this makes it look a lot better than the stock gt4 headlight model. very well executed photo as well. love the lights and reflection on the car. this is just amazing!! great work

Sweet update Mog! The car is soo clean, it's too clean! Believe it or not, you've cleaned it up too much  Serious now, picture is very nice, great colours, the road has the right amount of noise and is blurred very well 👍 The car looks a little bit too clean though, it looks as though it's a vector or something, I don't know but it feels to me it has lost somewhat realism to it. The reflections itself are a little weird, though very clean, the edges are so sharp and blocky. I guess you wanted to re-create the building reflections on it? I think they may have looked a little bit better if they were round and smooth but that's only my taste, I'm neat picky now  You blended in that headlight perfectly BTW, I wish I had the skills to blend in real car parts into a GT4 image :indiff:

Very nice, I'm sure you'll do good with it in the comps 👍

It does have a vector feel to it. There's no sign of texture besides the car being very clean and polished up. It's beautifull though!! 👍 I don't know how you do it...

Edit: I don't know though.
It's vector look, for me kind of gives a feel like everything that is visible on the picture is just perfect, but there's just a problem that alot on the picture just isn't visible anymore.

I don't know. It looks perfect but shallow. It's just a feel that it gives me though. It's not direct criticism as I don't know if that feel can be taken away while still having such a clean picture.

It's on a very high level though dude, you're on the very top together with some others:tup:

Thanks for all the feedback guys, it's very much appreciated. I'll get round to returning the favour at some point! 👍

Regarding the reflections, I was thinking about them while I was cleaning them up. I noticed that they're quite blocky and not very detailed (hence the vector look) but I continued as that's how they appeared in GT4. However, I considered experimenting with real reflections from photos of New York to see how they would look upon the car. Either photos from GT4 of the scenery or actual photography from around the city.

So I may update this photo even further with real reflections. Keep your eyes peeled! :)
