Very nice Mog! I don't think the reflections look too blocky. It shows the buildings off nicely. And the headlight looks mighty nice. I agree on the vector look though. But only down the side of the car. It just seems too mono, like it was just a gradient slapped in there. But other than that... WOW! Great Job.

Thats one hell of a shot Mog!! The "chase" feeling is fantastic, very nice captured!! The colors are also incredible...and look at those reflections!!!
Always good to come here mate...

I was considering doing a simple update like Ultra's recent one but I got carried away instead. The cleanup was quite quick and some of the reflections haven't even been touched but I just like the composition of the shot!

Very nice. I like it. I think there's been too much devotion to people trying to perfect an image lately anyway Mog:D

Once GT5 hits we won't need to worry about clean up anymore anyway ;)

I like it! :)

The overall tone you got on the image, together with the bright/dark contrast and the composition make the not-Mog-perfect cleaning not be an issue here. Also, the noise you added hides the unclean parts a bit. :)
It looks part of the cleaning was done with a median filter, specially on the left rear.

Good one, Mog. 👍
It's still simple, as you initially planned, not a major production with awesome attention to detail.
Btw, where did you took this shot?

There is always a need for cleaning up in games like on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in some parts, anyway sweet update Moglet.

Sinple and straight, just how I like it, doesn't it feel great to leave the hours of cleaning behind for once?

Anyway, as I said, I really like, the colours are great, the car's great too, pretty much straight forward is how I like them best, great job! 👍

Love that shot Mog, really shows that a picture can look great with good colour and lighting. And what sweet colour it has, lighting too. I really like the contrast between the top and bottom of the shot, very interesting to the eye. Superb work once again. 👍

I won't be able to afford to get a PS3 with GT5 for a long time yet though! I think from now on I'm going to be trying to stick to this simpler style. I'd much rather concentrate on composition and lighting than cleanups in Photoshop.

Thanks for your feedback! This shot was taken at Trial Mountain Reverse.

Yup, it felt brilliant to leave behind hours of cleaning and blurring and just produce a simple effective image with a carefully thought out composition. As I mentioned further up in this post I think this is the style I want to continue with now. I'm bored of the straightforward blurred shots.

Thanks Drift, I'm glad you liked the contrast between the top and the bottom, that's what makes the image stand out to me. 👍

It's funny, I forgot to write like. :D It really brings out the car and the colour having the bottom so dark. Vey cool shot. 👍

I am going to be cutting down on the clean up too I think. I never felt very good at it and it always takes too long. I find that so many other aspects of the shot are more important. Like angle, framing, composition, light and colour. So I think I will try and make those the best I can. Sorry about the rant. :D

Look forward to your nest update.

A rather strange update...
Simple enough, click the area of the shot you want to see. I hope you like my presentation, it's taken ages to put together! If any links are wrong, please let me know.

Realy nice style man!...this reminds of TABS, he love to do this kind of stuff.
The photos are good not your usualy style but good.👍

Wow, that "impreza1full" shot is amazing
Love the presentation a lot too. How do you link stuff like this, i mean when i usually link there would be a space between te pieces?

Wow Moglet that presentation is very very nice, so is the revised s2000 btw. I love this presentation style, it looks perfect but I can still see a imperfection, it's that the edges of each seperate "link" are slightly moved. It might be my screen though or my connection. Most obvious to see it is how the last 2 links connect, with all the circle stuff. But you've done a very good job, it looks very professional! The only real downside for me were the shots. I'd rather see shots like the TT you did for the rally comp than these. But I think that's a matter of how much time you want to have on your hands. :P I also see that these shots are worked into the presentation, so that's what the shots were really good for, to give you that mystique look, but still I'd like to see other pics behind it. But I was surprised when I saw the buildings, they look quite good. The subaru is nice too, but it would have been much nicer if it was a real pic, like some abstract photos you have taken. It works though... Btw, the subaru shot you showed in the pmc comp is very nice, I wanted to say that too. But keep this stuff up, you're doing an amazing job. I can't do it but I'd like to learn how to. :)

This is art Mog!!! Very good...this is a 5 stars update!!!! The presentation is one of the best I ever seen!!!
Congrats:)

Nice shots nice update. Gives me the impression of an SSX On Tour Menu being all wacky. Good shots mate be sure to check my mysterious, ghostly update in my gallery if you have time.

Agh, I only just noticed that! I think it was to do with my cutting out in Photoshop... I think I'll leave it for now anyway.

Thanks for all of the feedback that everyone has given me, I'll be sure to repay the favour in your galleries soon!

I'm aiming to come up with different ways of presenting my shots and the next update will contain more my usual stuff. This was just a quick experiment. 👍

You must be taking notes from Antihero ;) Great stuff
The pres is really good as well ... urban abstract rocks!

Really good presentation, Moglet!

I really like the sketchy-cut-paste look.

About the photos, I believe that what really stands out in all of them is showing you are a great photographer. You must be in real life, some of those are extremely artistic.

I love the one with the 'forced' contours of the cranes, just beautiful. 👍

+rep to you for both the presentation and the shots. Specially the one above mentioned.

Thanks! Thankyou for all of your feedback too, everybody. I'm sorry I don't have the time to reply to many people's galleries but I'm very busy lately with my Thesis work.

Anyway, lately I've been working on an entry for the tournament. I came up with two and whilst editing them I discovered two new ways to cleanup, one of which is VERY effective at making the car look more realistic. I'm not going to reveal the secrets just yet though... :sly:
The shot below is the rejected shot, the other one I took has gone through for entry;

I'm very very pleased with this shot and also with my new cleaning methods. Let me know what you think of it. It was rejected for entry because the other shot is better and the lights on the bonnet look a bit OTT on this one.
Here's my qualification round entry if anyone is interested;

Please let me know what you think

I don't know Mog... both shots are amazing, but I think you would have done just as well entering the first one. It looks very realistic to me.

Great work. Can't wait to eventually (at least I would like you to reveal it sometime) hear about this new cleaning method as well;)

The 2nd shot was entered the qualifying round, so that doesn't count. The shot I have entered for Round 1 has been kept secret otherwise I would be disqualified!

I'll reveal the cleaning method sooner or later. To be honest, it's less of a cleaning method, more of a technique to make the car look a bit better and give textures a bit more depth. :)
