One thing I remember someone or something saying yesterday is that there is a rumor going around that Sato's car is being used as a ginneapig. Maybe I drempt it though... I can't tell truth from fiction.

Now I don't know who said that and if there is any truth to it... But I've been thinking that for a while already.

It really is strange.

Yes, Niki Lauda said that (on german TV), he said that if Sato had to start from the back of the pack they might as well let do full rev´s - blow another xxxxxx $ honda engine....

haha, tv really DOES ruin our minds...

but anyway, i would say its half truth, half fiction. for one, i think honda may be testing some different things with satos car, but all together i think its just sato's over-aggressiveness that ruins everything, not the car. hes a good driver, but i think he could use some settling down or adhd tablets

and how about Glock? wat a way to enter Formula 1 :sly:.

I obviously missed that, Baumgartner being the last finisher, 4 laps down.

I had no idea about that performance clause, is this the escape clause everyone has vaguely referred to, or was that something else? I heard that one was Renault specific. I wonder if they would actually drop Trulli... Alonso's not going anywhere for a while (2007, he'll be red, I have a feeling). I wonder if now Sam Michael's more involved he will push for Webber to be included at Williams next year. I think it would be a smart move, and I also don't think Renault should risk shaking up something that's working so well.

I don't see why BAR would need to make Sato a guinea pig. They do plenty of testing, they're even allowed to run a 3rd car on Friday.

It was recently raised with the head of Engines at Ferrari, Paolo Martini I believe, whether different specification engines were produced. One with an 800k lifespan, another with just over 300 incase there needed to be a change for race day, one that would theoretically offer better performance. He said they had no need for such a system and thus didn't have one, but that a green 800k engine could be run a lot harder obviously if it only had to survive 300k.

Edit: Btw, you're all hopeless. Your lack of short term memory and inability to discern reality from fiction only serves to validate the Nazis who wish to see TV and other such pleasures eradicated. You also drink too much. And leetcake, if you're ever feeling so down again, come on and post with us, we'll cheer you up.
