Do people want a practice session today? tbh, I'm not going to get anything more out of the car, so I'll only host the session if someone wants me too.

Make sure everyone knows the correct time for tomorrows race.

And this race will be 30 laps right ?

30 laps is correct.

Lobby will be opened at 18.30GMT, and the race will begin at 20.05GMT.
I will not be paying attention to the lobby between 19.00-20.00GMT.

It is up to the participants to make sure they know the time differences between countries.

Does qualifying start as the lounge opens ?

Yes. Though I'll remind people that it's bugged like hell :).
Do not be surprised if you pull a great lap, and then end up at the back of the grid by race start.

Hey I've been busy with work the past few weeks and just stumbled across this thread. Since I have not participated in any of the practices I was wondering if I could still get in on this race tonight?

Well, it's a bit of a stretch, as I won't be there for most of the qualifying, and thus I have very little time to observe your driving. I'll see about getting someone else to make sure you're up to the task :). I'll get back to you ASAP.

Awesome thanks. I'll be waiting for a reply.

OK. MattieM will be co-hosting the event, and as such, will be responsible for OK'ing you for the event. I trust you know the rules on how to drive clean :).

As for off track rules. You're off track as soon as you have more than 2 wheels off the actual road. When going off track, you're expected to let off the throttle, and re-enter the track. Of course you need to make sure you don't re-enter right in front of other drivers.

Good luck to all in the event. I'll open the lobby in 10-15 minutes. Make sure to sent me a friend request on PSN, so you can join the lobby.

np mate. I know you didn't RQ, so we're all good.

Great race guys. After kind of a bad start for me I managed to catch the leaders in a few laps. We had a nice battle until the pitstops, it was almost impossible for me to overtake when one took left side and the other right side. Couldn't do much more than sit behind and wait. I had no idea how long the tyres would last but I'm usually good at conserving tyres on FF cars. Lap 14 and 15 I was doing about 2.28 - 2.29 I think. When I got close to Mattie on lap 20 I knew I had a good chance to win if I only stayed on track.

Thanks to Andy for organising this event. 👍

Thanks to everyone who participated. Was a good race, with Cubrius taking the win. I forgot to save the replay, so here is the race results based on my poor memory.

1st. Cubrius
2nd MattieM
3rd FakeGangsta
4th SkengD
5th Runawaytrain
6th Andy-Macnab
7th JohnWells

I'm sure we started the race with 9 people, yet we finished with only 7? I know M8h3r got DQ, but what happened to MSTER? I didn't see him in the results tab.

This was a really great race, interesting to see all the different pit strategys.
The start went great, no crashes/bumps at all in the first few corners. Good job everyone. I don't know what happended to runawaytrain, his start seemed to be delayed or he wasn't paying attention at all :). In lap 3 i set my fastest lap of this race, a 2:23:480. I was slipstreaming Cobrius, he managed a 2:23:465 in lap 3 i believe.
After a few laps there was a gap of about 4 seconds between me and the 3 leaders op front. I managed to close this gap in lap 8 to find the four of us close together. Like cobrius said, there where no oppertunities to overtake. I apparently am not good in preserving tyres and decided to pit in lap 10 and go for a two stop strategy on SS. My front tyres had about 30-40% left at this point. The next lap i overtook FakeGangsta as he was just leaving the pits. He wasn't gaining on me the next few laps so i knew he didnt continue with SS's. In lap 20 i pitted again for my final stint to the checkered flag. After leaving the pits i was on 4th place just behind FakeGangsta. i was on fresh SS's and he on non-fresh SM's so overtaking him was not really a problem. In the last 10 laps i gained on SkengD and overtook him as well, but Cobrius was to far away. I maneged to reduce the gap from 20 sec to 15 secs at the finish.

Congratulations to Cobrius.

Great driving by Cobrius I look forward to racing you in the future you are a fast driver .

I think Gangster and I made the mistake of going on the medium tire , I just assumed everyone would have done that for some reason .

Mattie had a great 2 stop strategy that worked for him .

The Golfs were really fun , see you all in the Evo / Subaru battle

Great race guys but I believe I overtook Skeng on the last lap for 3rd and we were battling to the line as time expired

Thanks for organising the race Andy great fun as always, can't wait to break in the evo now!

Just watched the replay and it was epic!!!
Those were the best race battles I was ever involved in, if anyone has the replay please watch it. It was almost as entertaining as the race.

That race was alot of fun! I had a late start due to a loading issue so I started about 10 seconds after everyone else but was still able to get into the action. I spent about the first 6 laps trying to catch up with everyone else and eventually made the pass on Johnwells and soon caught up to Andy-Macnab.
We had a great battle until lap 9 when he lost control and hit me in the rear driver side wheel, crippling me. Wasn't on purpose though so it didn't bother me. Accidents happen, and more so in racing.
After that I had a few more battles with Andy, eventually passing him and then completing the rest of the race all alone. Good race overall I had a blast!
