Would be a bit disappointing if they didn't patch Scion into the New Car Dealer. If the car itself is already in game it seems like the DLC might be like the FT86 Concept they gave out to users that bought several DLC packs. Get one and that is it.
I did think it was a little odd they were calling it DLC on the Italian site without it just being patched in like the GT 86

I'am happy to get a new superspeedway for FGT and Nascar Online... scion cars is cheap same thing than the ft 86 that we already have in 3 versions... easy to do for PD and we pay for it?.... I will like the day that it will have like 200 cars in the PS Store that we can download like for 0,50$ for each car or something like that or Cars pack like Corean Car Pack, American Muscle cars car pack, germain car pack... a lot of choice

But as nice as that would be I wouldn't expect it to ever happen. By the way, the Scion FRS is going to be free.
The free car to a massive DLC car pack + all the GT Academy cars with along side a track pack..?

Yeah i know what you mean... but the game include a basic number of cars (1040 approximatly) so if you want to add more it's up to you but the choice would be greater... not only japanese cars and europeen car version.. GT5 don't have enough american cars. I don't care about having 50 miatas, 50 skyline and 50 s2000 and 50 GTR's that i never used, we want american V8 cars.
If I compare to guitar hero, we have basicaly about 80 songs but if you want more you can spend a lot of money... could be the same thing for GT5.
With the number of gt5 copies they sold i can't believe they can not give us more now or maybe Kaz prefer to spend money for his ford gt collection instead of invest in GT5 and future games

1. You need to ignore the standard cars, as most of those are remnants of GT4 and have nothing to do with new content. When you look at premium duplicates, there aren't 50 of anything. Not even close actually.
2. It's a Japanese game. There will always be more Japanese cars than cars from any other single country, so get used to it. But, there's still many great Japanese cars that aren't represented in GT5 as premium cars. You should learn to dissociate nationality from cars, I welcome any good cars to GT, regardless of where they come from.
3. There's plenty of American cars in GT5. American cars are well represented.
You can't compare guitar hero songs to 500'000 polygon cars with modeled exteriors, interiors, driving physics, and sounds.

As we've established many many times, those so called "duplicates" are quite different from other. Also, don't think that getting rid of one car means PD will spend the time to add another, because that is completely false.
You know, because Kaz takes all the revenue made from GT5.

I think we we'll get Scion FR-S not as a DLC but included in a new update which will surely bring us the new dealership in the showroom. We have always got free cars with updates, so there is no reason for implementing a new, free car in DLC. I hope for another car pack consisting of 6-10 cars.

It almost feels like nobody can see any sort of silver lining. Sure, we get a car that even in real life is basically the same as one we already have but just like said car, its free. If they were charging you for it, then I'd see a reason to 🤬 bricks.

Yes, I'm fairly confident those are the options even though I have absolutely no association with PD whatsoever nor has PD ever officially announced what they have planned for the future.
If they weren't customer friendly, then they probably wouldn't have bothered to give out the two cars for free.
