Screw that, now I have no excuse not to race with you guys.
Just did a few races with Manny and Shark, using my new wheel.
Best I did was 4 seconds a lap slower. I wish someone would reply to my post
in the G27 thread. I'm struggling a little with settings.
and I started with the suggest ones in the Renown Tuning thread.
Those are a little too aggressive for me.

I'm going to switch to wheel once GT5 comes out. It'll be different for me too but once you get the hang of it I'm sure the wheel will be much easier to control than the pad.

I've found braking and acceleration is much better, and easy to adapt.
It's tight corners that are more difficult.And as I said, if you don't have
the settings right, the car is impossible to drive.
And car tuning is much more critical with the wheel.
If I'm not pressured, I'm only 2 seconds of my pace @ tracks I know well.
But tracks and cars I don't drive all the time, well let's just say if the boys would not have slowed down, they would have lapped me in a 6 lap race

That's crazy. There should be tunes on the need for speed site for the wheel. At least that's where I've seen them. I don't usually get on that board though, it's a lot slower than here, post wise.

Lol yea its a web site for leagues I am in the GT corvette championship but after this season I hope to race in the touring car league with the game RACE ON as there a bit more to my liking.

Its a hole new world I have to race for 60 Min's while managing my temps and my engine and gearbox wear.
Everything from the engine oil/water temps to changing my driving style to make the car last longer.
yea bin away a bit as shift has had my brain scrambled #.

Why don't you look at the forum before the races mate?
The yesterday races were great, I had only one DC in the last race in the 5th lap, I was very angry because Arvore, Shark and me could have a very good and close race there.
The videos will be posted on thuesday! (my ring race was an insane run lol)
Sorry HOG, Lefty and Shark for the contacts in the S3 race, it was pretty close, the only thing I don't know who putted me out of the track in the 1st lap lol.... Nice win Jay, from the last position if I'm right! And what happened with you HOG? You were slowing down, then you were quit?
Is there anybody else who recorded the races?

Thanks Mo It was the only race I knew I had a chance In apart from the MP4.
I think In the S3 race hog and Lefty clipped and that knocked Lefty Into you. Acase of adrenalin and too many people going Into the same turn at the same time.
The ring race I hit Mo as he spun and and chance I had was dashed so I waited for Mo to pass so I don't hold him up as I knew he had a great chance of pulling It back. So I just cruised round.
The MP4 race I knew I could do well In to but I clipped Lefty though my video shows him start spining before I touched him aint lag great sorry lefty.
I still got the fastest lap on that one though.
Looking at the results though I had quite a good chance looking at everyone's times.

It was gentl Jay that you let me passed you! Thanks! (I tought I can go under 6:40 but I had a lot of mistakes..)
And for Shark too, he parked to the side when he saw i come behind him and he knew he will not finish that race, and I have to say Shark was very carefull with me on the S3 race too. Nice one mate!
And at Glendale I made a mistake on Hog and lefty too, so there is no problem with that colission!
ps: that was my first weekend without the racing line, and I can say it wasn't harder. In some moments it was better!

You did well I never use racing line I feel you learn the circuit and breaking points better without .

Well fellows this weekend was one that I will never forget, other than one of the best runs I ever had on the Ring and Mo you can really go, you really earned that win Sat. we had a short but intense battle and you showed the maturity of a great racer, but today I got to hang out with 2 of the greatest racers in all of racing from time immortal. I went to the MAGOO memorial and ran into 2 of the greatest racers I thought I would never meet. I won’t tell you who they are right now, would you care to guess, but between the two of them they hold 6 world championships and one of the championships was won in a manner that has never been duplicated in any motor sport.

guys sorry about race day.
my connection has been crap on everything since I moved my router in the new house but it turns out that virgin media have been switching my Internet on and off due to the residence that lived here before had put in a dummy box to get free internet and it had been left there when they moved out so on virgins records it was showing as a illegal connection and they had been switching it off but then it had been coming up with a legal connection and they have been turning it on.
so now I am waiting on a engineer to come out and rip out the old box and install a new one but this means a lot of cable work and time so it wont be done untill next week so I will not be on all week and there is a chance I wont make Saturday.
If needs come I will play with a pad and use my mates console and connection to play.

Thought you had a problem mate hope you can make it for the final It's going to be fun between 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th with there only being like 3 points between us and with 4 races this week you could pull back to the points battle.
