New TT34 & DT34

I will try this with a slightly detuned Citroen GT Race Car. The 2J isn't exactly what I reckon as fun, it is a Bobs car, not mine..:)

Did the Nurb in the Citroen GT RC. IIRC 6:50.3 yet far from the top. The Spa event I did in the R10 Stealth, but only did 2:03 I think. Missed atleast three apexes and was a bit easy on throttle out, so it can probably do a whole lot better in capable hands..

I don't like either of those tracks and it will take about 3 years worth of attempts before you get a fast clean lap around the nordschleife. :)
 
A full minute behind #1 at the Nurb, yeah baby!

Red laps all the way. Finally had to give up with anything remotely fast and do a clean lap with the R32 TC from the DLC.
 
..just desided to skip the ring tt.. I rather keep my sanity. Was looking forward to this as great fun, but 8min of green hell at "maximum attack" when even smallest error is enough to disqualify the lap is just too much. That penalty is ridiculous in every way. One should only take penalty when gaining advantage by cutting corners - not when slipping OUT in a bend. Id rather loose the seconds on the time than loose the entire track. Too many restarts already..

I have a spare 2J I can put it online if you want, it has a decent 600pp setup from the suzuka TT on it for ya.

Sweet TTs, did one lap at Spa, 56.4, awful lap though. :(
 
If that ever happens I'll enter all the time trials but until then I won't.
I know your pain guys and I hate that I don't have a 2J race car, lucky for me one of my mates has '67 card which gives that ****** overpowered car but PD has really screw this badly.....stock TT would be so much better. Most of normal people have lifes and don't have time to look for best cars and doing setups as well.....just give us the car and same setup and let us see who is faster!
 
Ran a bit, my second clean lap got me a 6'15. Not that bad.

My tune for 2J:
Ballast: 79/+50
Power: 490hp
Gearbox: stock ratios 330km/h (I hit the limiter)
Suspension:
Ride height: -9/-10
Spring rates: 17.6/20.0
Dampers (extension): 9/7
Dampers (compression): 4/2
ARB: 6/6
Camber: 2.8/1.9
Toe: 0.10/-0.60
LSD: 10/20/5
Brake balance: 6/9


Works for me!
 
Echoing sentiments that have been expressed previously, I wish PD would give us a TT with a stock car, the PP events always end up being about whether you have the right car or not. As someone without the 2J, I'm a bit annoyed that I'll never get near a fast time on the current Nurburgring TT.
 
I don't have a 2J :( Anyone have a spare they could gift me?

I don't think it can be gifted but I have a 2J up to borrow, it already has a decent setup as it was set up for another TT, its more lively than usual.
 
There's a Nissan Micra (MMR Cup) in 2nd on the drift trial at Clubman, watching the replay now and it's pretty sweet!

Just took couple shots with Vertigo and I suprised how easy it is drift 👍

^^thank's for the setup mate! I'll give it a try later today, I'm by no means a "ring master" but I tend to improve the more I practice, we'll see. 👍
 
Think the spa tt will be my focus, can't compete with the 2j on the ring :( quite a few possibilities at spa so should be a giggle.

Only thing is I'm super busy at uni, could be trouble ahead...haha

Lovin the Spa hadn't had a go with the Ring yet. Down to a 2:02 in my Peugeot 905 which for me is not bad and there's tons of room for improvement...

Does anyone know where i could find the number of participants for any given time trial? It seems as much info as the game captures, it would be a no brainer. I just went to the US GT official site. would love to know for previous TT's to see how I did overall... what percentile act. and track improvement over time.
 
Did a 6:21.545 on my first go with the 2J, 132nd as it stands, but incredibly sloppy in places. With some tuning and top gear changing (ran out at 197) could jump some seconds yet. Impressive time for first anyways. 1:59.4xx with the 908 HDI after two laps, might have a go at that later in the week. Loving the two combinations :)

That's your problem, Off track = DQ - always was and always will be.
Can't make a single lap where gold time is 1'40 higher than normal times beeing run? Wow.

Also, how many times did I restart? I'll just note two 6'10 laps in a row I've lost by going wide in the last corner, or when I missed my braking point for Karussel... stay strong and don't give up.


On topic, back in P6 with 6'09 (with a horrible messup at Adenauer Forst), I see a 6'07 left in me with my tune here. So far happy where I am.

I think only way to findout that is create second account and make bad result (like I did :lol: ) .
Last DT (Tsukuba) was taking part about 130 000 so I think its same on TT's 👍
