It was 38-14 here in Houston as the Texans beat the Titans to improve to 4-0. The Oilers never been 4-0. The Houston Gamblers of the old USFL went 5-0 once. "Bulls on Parade" for doggone sure! What had me worried in this game was that Houston's offense kind of went to sleep and not really exploding like they usually do. Defense, however, still held serve. Glover Quin sacked the crap out Jake Locker (who unfortunately left the game with shoulder issues; Matt Hasselbeck took over in his place). J.J. Watt picked up some sacks as well as forcing a fumble. Both Kareem Jackson and Danieal Manning accounted for pick-sixes off of the Titans. As for the TEN, Chris Johnson was pretty solid for the Titans. He finally got his motor going and put up some good runs against our defense. Anyhow- Bulls on Parade!
So we survived the second test of this five-game stretch before our Bye week. Our next test- at the Jets on Monday Night (October 8). Then after that, back home for our ONLY home primetime game- hosting Green Bay on Sunday Night the following week.
Later tonight is the New York Giants at the Philadelphia Eagles. How did your team(s) do today?
