Which NFL team will get Geno Smith from West VA? Check out his number from today. Your jaw will drop, guaranteed.

Re: Geno Smith...

NFL football is becoming NCAA football and NCAA football is becoming HS football.

Quality of play, especially defense. And offenses changing to exploit it.

Anyway, Texas A&M is going to be a baller program in two years.

Yeah, defense is really dropping off nowadays. Everyone is talking about 5000+ yards passing seasons as if it will be a breeze and all the great QBs will do it without much trouble. And young QBs are changing the face of offense as well: RG3 and Cam Newton still have offenses run like college ones. Running the ball in the NFL (other than the QB) is slowly becoming a lost art.

Rule changes in the NFL as well as the way referees (real ones) interpret rules are making life difficult for the defense.

Discuss....

Flipping back and forth between the Bills-Pats game, and my school's team playing an away game, football sunday alright.

My dad's at the bills game with a friend of his, he sure picked a good one to go to!

Jets:
O-line can't protect
Wide receivers can't catch
Sanchez can't pass
and Shonn Greene is a terrible back.

Worse offense in the league baby.

Bills' defense have just thrown this one away for reasons I really don't who why.

Gilmore has been sensational at CB despite not intercepting but keeping quiet the likes of Brandon Lloyd.

It was 38-14 here in Houston as the Texans beat the Titans to improve to 4-0. The Oilers never been 4-0. The Houston Gamblers of the old USFL went 5-0 once. "Bulls on Parade" for doggone sure! What had me worried in this game was that Houston's offense kind of went to sleep and not really exploding like they usually do. Defense, however, still held serve. Glover Quin sacked the crap out Jake Locker (who unfortunately left the game with shoulder issues; Matt Hasselbeck took over in his place). J.J. Watt picked up some sacks as well as forcing a fumble. Both Kareem Jackson and Danieal Manning accounted for pick-sixes off of the Titans. As for the TEN, Chris Johnson was pretty solid for the Titans. He finally got his motor going and put up some good runs against our defense. Anyhow- Bulls on Parade! :D

So we survived the second test of this five-game stretch before our Bye week. Our next test- at the Jets on Monday Night (October 8). Then after that, back home for our ONLY home primetime game- hosting Green Bay on Sunday Night the following week.

Later tonight is the New York Giants at the Philadelphia Eagles. How did your team(s) do today?

Pats seriously woke up in the 2nd half outscoring buffalo 42-7 with 4 minutes left to play. After coming into the second half down.
And another New England pic!

Edit : pic leads to NE field goal!
31 4th quarter points for NE.

No test, you will flatten the Jets by at least 4 scores. This team is embarrassing.

My 'Hawks defense didn't allow an offensive touchdown all day. Too bad our offense couldn't do jack after the opening drive. I swear, our receiving core isn't that bad, but it seems to me like the ball isn't thrown to the correct guys a lot (like our tallest guy Sidney Rice).

Bears at Cowboys TONIGHT!

The NFC is on display tonight as the boys from the Windy City will try to blow away the Dallas Cowboys in the Dallas area. If you're into lines, Dallas is favored by three at home based on one source I read. So who are you taking to win tonight's game in Dallas- the Chicago Bears or the Dallas Cowboys?

If only because I cannot stand the cowboys. Plus, it is always a good time to bring up Da Super Fans.

Why does everyone forget that Baylor put up 63 points in that same game. Florence from Baylor put up amazing QB numbers as well. Which QB has better receivers and which team has a better D?

For the same reason people forget that you can't include every QB in every post? :)
