Just fire everybody! That'll work. Nothing like a good old fire sale when a team is failing.
It's early, but here are the standings so far for all 32 teams. This would be a glimpse of what the playoff picture could look like if the playoffs started today:
--- AFC ---
EAST: Buffalo, Miami, and New England (2-2 each), NYJ (1-3)
NORTH: Cincinnati (3-0), BAL (3-1), PIT (2-2), CLE (1-2)
SOUTH: Houston (3-1), IND (2-2), TEN (1-3), JAX (0-4)
WEST: San Diego (3-1), DEN (2-1), KC (2-2), OAK (0-4)
--- NFC ---
EAST: Philadelphia and Dallas (3-1 each), NYG (2-2), WSH (1-3)
NORTH: Detroit (3-1), GB, MIN, and CHI (2-2 each)
SOUTH: Atlanta and Carolina (2-2), NO and TB (1-3 each)
WEST: Arizona (3-0), SEA (2-1), SF (2-2), STL (1-2)
So currently, Cincinnati and Arizona are the only two teams currently unbeaten. CIN and ARI do not have each other on the schedule, so it's possible both teams COULD run the table without these two playing each other in the regular season. Only way they WOULD meet is if Bengals and Cardinals ends up being this season's Super Bowl.
The only winless teams currently are both in the AFC- Oakland and Jacksonville. My Texans already handed Oakland back in Week 2, and since Jacksonville is a division opponent, we will have to deal with JAX twice. Oakland is off this week after getting plastered by Omnis' Miami Dolphins in London. Wait... London Dolphins? I kind of forgot what NFL Europe team London had. Or if there ever was an NFL Europe team in London. Anyhow, OAK and JAX are hoping neither has to settle for getting a First Round draft pick.
Those the standings for you. Are there any teams, players, or anything else that has surprised you so far this season? What about players and teams that are underrated?
