NFL 2014 Season

Jay Cutler is the epitone of Jeckyll and Hyde. When he's good, he's good. But when he's bad, he's god awful. Of course, Marshall's meltdowns don't help, but combining Jay Cutler with a defense so porous that even the Jaguars might be able to score on it means that it'll be a season of mediocrity.

"Wait, you aren't supposed to do that?" - Nathaniel Hackett.

FTFY.

That was a **** game. The Dolphins are ****ing retards in the clutch. Any other offense with this defense would be superbowl favorites.

I feel the same way about the Bills. Maybe not a superbowl favorite, but a team that could make it to the division or conference games.

Panthers at Eagles TONIGHT!

The NFC is in vogue and on display tonight in Philadelphia. The 3-5-1 Carolina Panthers of the brutal NFC South are second in their division, as they leave behind Charlotte, NC to take on Philly. The Eagles have soared above and beyond the rest of the NFC East, as they are 6-2 and leading their division. Who will end this NFL week with a win? We'll see tonight.

If you are the betting type, here's your section, so read carefully. PHI is favored by 7. The over/under is 48.5.

Before I close out this post, I just want to quickly mention off-topic that I now have a better understanding of favorites and over/unders after doing a little reading online a week or so ago. I made this talk a staple of my Monday Night Football posts once someone asked about lines for games. And so there you have it.

Good luck to both CAR and PHI tonight.

THIS JUST IN...

...Carson Palmer (ARI, QB) is done for the season with a torn ACL. Sad break for the Arizona Cardinals.

Miami Dolphins Tackle Branden Albert has a torn ACL and MCL as a result of play this week as well. It isn't a good week in the NFL when two players go on IR due to torn ACLs in the same week.

EDIT: It's apparently bleaker in Chicago than I thought. According to this, there are Cutler jerseys being burned in Chicago.

Kind of figured that after seeing him go down, unfortunately.

It's the same thing with Albert. After you saw his leg get crushed like it did, you knew he was hurt bad. It was really hard to watch Albert's after I realized how it was torn.

I didn't see Albert go down. But it had to be bad if both the ACL and MCL are torn. Shame for both guys.

Well done NFL, giving the Jaguars a game in London in back-to-back years.
They have a deal through 2016. Shahid Khan owns a London based football (not American) team as well.

So that's all three Wembley games this year and they were all pretty great. Enjoyed watching the Cowboys a lot.

Well, I guess that we have two prime time blowouts this week. Carolina needs a mega comeback in the second half to even have a miracle of a chance to win.

Mark Sanchez just went from giving out butt fumbles to giving butt kickings. That game was about as lopsided as lopsided can be.

Who knew Mark Sanchez would score more fantasy points than Cam?

The team has potential, but the injuries an inability to perform during clutch moments kills them. They have gotten noteably better last second as far as wins go this season but they still have work to do. Granted, it's been a while since we've seen them with potential this high in years.

The AFC East gets its shine on tonight as the Buffalo Bills go down south to take on Onmis' Miami Dolphins. We start this week of NFL action in Miami. MIA is favored by 4 line-wise.

Good luck to all of your teams this week.

The only time I root for another AFC East team is when they're playing the Patriots, because always **** the Patriots

The Bills and Dolphins are good at making fools of themselves. So are the Jets.

That Clay Matthews Fathead commercial. This game has been all about defense so far. That's the second game in a row that Miami has played in a defensive slug fest.

Yeah its been very mild as far as action goes. Buffalo has had a few rather nice gains on offense though.

3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, Bills up 9-3.

Edit Dolphins put up 7. 9-10 Miami.

That was one of the dumbest plays that I have watched in a while. It sort of worked out for Buffalo, but still- that was dumb.
