What in the hell did I watch in that 2nd half. What the hell was that.

Miami takes the win, 19-9.

Optimus Grimes shut down Super Sammy. Miami's defense held stout and their offense woke up.

Thank you Miami for blowing out Buffalo in the second half. That beat down makes me feel vindicated after Jim Shwartz's dumb arrogant celebration back when the Bills played (and beat) the Lions. I could tell that he was the DC after a couple really stupid penalties were committed by the Bills Defense in the second half.

Leodis McKelvin said his team was gonna give the Dolphins an ass whipping.

This is Lamar Miller juking Mr. McKelvin so hard that he sprained his ankles.

He would not return.

The stupid penalties were the biggest issue for the most part.

Hey, you... yeah- you. Get psyched- it's game day! Get ready for another Sunday of NFL action. Plenty of games to come.

Good luck to all of your teams.

Does someone wanna explain to me how shoving a receiver in the back is not grounds for a PI call? If the Hawks lose this game, it's because the refs wanted us to.

The Rams pretty much crushed the Broncos through most of the game. What a terrible loss for Denver this will be if they don't manage to make a wicked comeback.

Denver just lost that game horribly.

In a game referenced to as the "Brady Backup Bowl," it was Hoyer (CLE) vs. Ryan Mallett (HOU), Mallett making his NFL debut. We went into Cleveland and won 23-7. The first score of the game was a touchdown reception by... a guy named Justin James Watt- the cool kids call him J.J. Watt. Cleveland responded with a touchdown drive after Watt was called for his second Roughing the Kicker penalty of the game. Afterwards, the scoring was all done by the Texans. No Arian Foster (groin injury) meant Houston had to rely on Alfred Blue. Blue delivered with a 100+ yard game on 36 carries. This was not exactly a pretty game to watch. Still, it was "Bulls on Parade."

Ryan Mallett did pretty well. I like his field vision as well as his passing. The two things I didn't like were that pick he threw in the end zone, and then that near-pick he threw basically RIGHT AT a Brown defender. He otherwise is the better Ryan in our QB depth chart. I like Ryan Mallett and thought he did pretty well. The former Arkansas Razorback QB passed his first test.

That's the Texans Report. Congratulations to all winners from today's action; better luck next time to all losers. How did your boys to today/tonight?

[UPDATE] Alfred Blue accounted for 36 carries for 156 yards. That's the official stat line. I made the edits to my post as of this update. And recently, I learned "J.J. Watt" as Justin James Watt last night or earlier today.

Lions looked awful in that 14-6 loss to the Cardinals. They guy who stole the ball from the Bengals fan in the Bengals/Saints game is getting a lot of press for the wrong reasons.

Steelers at Titans TONIGHT!

Fans of the AFC will get to enjoy tonight's match between the 6-4 Pittsburgh Steelers playing at the 2-7 Tennessee Titans. Both teams are ranked 3rd in their respective divisions. The Music City will certainly have plenty of chin music as well as the symphony of hard hits and tackles. Who will win this one?

PIT is favored by 6. The Over/Under is 45.5. Enjoy the game if you will be watching.

Am I the only one who wonders why the Steelers do well against good teams this year but struggle against teams that suck? It just makes no sense at all.

Tell that to the Rams. They've beaten three of the four conference champ contenders from last year. (With a bit of luck, they could beat NE in the Super Bowl)

This NFL week begins with the Kansas City Chiefs at the Oakland Raiders and ends with the Baltimore Ravens at the New Orleans Saints. Tonight, it's KC at OAK. Will the Raiders finally end their brutal losing streak? We'll see tonight.

Good luck to all of your teams this week.

The NFL announced that the Jets-Bills game won't be played on Sunday in Buffalo. That isn't even a remote shock with how bad it is in that area.

Yeah, tough break and very understandable. I just hope all is well with everyone dealing with the brutal snowy conditions. That NYJ at BUF game could be played on Monday in some other city.

According to what I've heard Jets-Bills will be played in Detroit on Monday.

The New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills will not play in Orchard Park, NY because of heavy snow in the greater Buffalo area,... but instead- will play in Detroit. So these two AFC East teams will play in Ford Field- home to the NFC's Detroit Lions (AnthonyD1993 country). The great thing is that this game will be played out properly instead of completely canceled.

There was a ZERO percent chance this game would be canceled.

Well, the Chiefs/Raiders game is going anything but how I thought it would be. Props to Oakland for putting up a fight for most of the game regardless of the outcome.

Congrats Oakland.

Yeah, no matter who you support it always sucks to see a team suffer through a long losing streak like Oakland has.

Congrats to the Raiders on getting the job done tonight.

I was hoping that the Bills-Jets game would move to Heinz Field so I could get dirt-cheap tickets and go to a regular season NFL game. Obviously my Steelers wouldn't be in it but still. :indiff:

I think that other commitments regarding high school football games are why Heinz Field couldn't host the game. Personally, I honestly think that the NFL should have tried to reschedule the game instead of relocate it.

Once again the league has come out and stated that they blew an important call in a Seahawks game. Someone on my facebook list said that Leavy should be banned form officiating our games because the calls always show bias.

Pretty cool that the Raiders made up for us. :P

Ford Field has a dome. Maybe that played a factor in the decision.

I know that since I both am a Lions fan and also go by Ford Field annually (to watch the Detroit Tigers play at Comerica Park- I'm not spending money to watch a game unless the Lions can produce on a regular basis). My point was that the NFL should not have sent it to Detroit just because they can play elsewhere. Nobody, including NFL players and coaches, should be out on the streets no matter what with that travel ban still in place in Buffalo.
