WR & TE would be my top targets, Safety a close second, but that's what 2nd rounders are for.
Other way around. I'd rather go safety first if they are available. The only way I go WR first round is if Evans falls to them. Ebron will get snatched before the Jets get a chance (Giants and Baltimore want him).

Evans goes to Tampa Bay. There won't be any real good WR available when the Jets pick so go with best available at need.

Ebron goes to Detroit.

Johnny Football continues to slide. Interesting to see where he falls now, maybe to Arizona at #20?

At least it's not a ****ing pass rusher, I was about to be 110% done with this draft if they picked a pass rusher.

I'm OK with Safety, but I wish we addressed offense

There's a ton of depth at WR in the draft. I'm really happy with this pick. Him, Landry, and Allen are gonna do great for Safety.

They can't do worse.

Manziel to Cleveland.

Us Texans... we be Clownin'. Like, every day. So we picked up JaDaveon(?) Clowney in the 1st Round. That means a defensive presence of J.J. Watt and Clowney. Again- I had no reservations or thoughts of what the Texans would actually do in the Draft. It is now just time to let the Draft play itself out to see whom else we pick up to get ready for the 2014 season.

I will say, there were other options on the O-line for the Dolphins...or even other positions. Not sure if my choice of...er, Tre Mason, in my mock draft was too ridiculous for the Dolphins...

So many players I feel for here. So many at the wrong teams.

Certainly won't argue Clowney to Texans. He should be a success there regardless of Watt being there too.
But Bortles has no help at the Jags. (I get to watch in him London though and I did think he'd be the first QB)
Watkins hasn't got an elite QB to throw to him at Buffalo.
Mack's gone to a lacklustre team.
Same with Evans.

The Browns though...certainly seems a good enough place for Manziel to land. However he might be less reliant on his mobility with one Josh Gordon to throw to. And it's nice to see Teddy go in the 1st round after the fall he's had. No idea how he'll do at the Vikings.

As for my teams, I've heard so much good about Ha-Ha for the Pack. He could well be solid for them for years to come.
And Roby, good choice for the Broncos given the corner problem there. I liked CBs higher in the draft more...but, #31 and all.

At first I was upset the Jets chose Pryor but I'm Ok with it today. I was talking with my cousin and he mentioned how the Jets and the Lions are polar opposites. Jets are all in on d and the Lions are all in on offense. I hope the Jets pick a WR and TE tonight. It's good to stop teams but you have to be able to score sometimes.

It will be interesting who all will be drafted tonight. My Texans, of course, will have the first pick for the next round of the NFL Draft tonight.

The Texans and Raiders are having a hell of a draft. But, my god, St. Louis is looking stellar.

AFC East is going to be interesting this season. I feel like this offseason has brought more questions than answers though.

At least Tannehill might finally be able to stay upright.

Well. Garoppolo looks in a good position now. Where will he go learning from Tom Brady...?

And indeed, the Rams look brilliant now. If only they weren't in the NFC West...where two other elite teams lie.

The Houston Texans signed J. Clowney to a four-year deal good for about $22.272M USD. I just hope he provides that lift for us on defense and that he can perform consistently well.

The Texans have reportedly released QB T.J. Yates. He was the guy who was under center at Cleveland to get the Texans to clinch their first playoff berth in team history back in 2011. He was the man as Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart both were out for the season with injury. Yates was also the QB to start in their first playoff game. Best of luck to T.J. Yates to whatever team he ends up with.

Also reported is that Titan-turned-Texan QB Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the starting QB for the Texans in the upcoming season. The real buzz around here mostly pertains to Andre Johnson. He's been the money WR for the Texans for just about all of the Texans' franchise history. I do understand him being pondering if being with the Texans is his best chance for him to be greater than he already is. However, I don't want this to get to an all-too-familiar theme regarding Houston sports- that of "Houston can't be a winner." Almost like you can't win championships in Houston, so you're better off going elsewhere. I would hate to see Andre Johnson go someplace else and be on a Super Bowl winning team. But if that did happen, it would further make me disappointed as a Houston sports fan.

I really hope that Fitzpatrick can turn his career around- he actually was somewhat decent when he came into the league. I hope Andre stays in Houston- he'll be really tough to replace for the Texans. He might not be who he was earlier in his career, but I liken his possible departure to what would happen if Calvin Johnson left the lions. He's just irreplaceable to the Texans.

The Texans' QB rotation figures to be Ryan Fitzpatrick, Case Keenum, and Tom Savage. And as I mentioned earlier, T.J. Yates was let go from the Texans.

I think it's a smart move to have Savage sit on the bench. Let him learn the system- he'll play better in the future that way. I think Bortles could have started for the Jags this year, but it makes sense for the exact same reason.

THIS JUST IN...

...I just read from the Texans' Facebook fan page that T.J. Yates got traded to the Atlanta Falcons for LB Akeem Dent. So it looks like T.J. Yates is going to play for the Dirty Birds while we pick up a linebacker. Hope this deal works out for both sides.

Watch out for this DirecTV scam:

You are ineligible to buy the Sunday Ticket without being a DirecTV subscriber unless you live in New York City, Philadelphia or San Francisco. The rest of us can't get it and when you enter your address info, it will say you are ineligible. Classic bait and switch, especially after the Madden deal they had last year where anyone who bought the $99.99 Sunday Ticket could watch all the games from nflsundayticket.tv. 👎
