This weekend marks the start of the playoffs in the NFL. Dreams begin... and may quickly end with the action set to unfold starting today. It's simple- win or go home. Just win, baby!

Congratulations to all playoff participants, and good luck to all playoff teams from now until the conclusion of this season's Super Bowl.

God, that Arizona offence was laughable. 77 total yards. What?
I got the Panthers going to the NFC Championship.

Either Seattle or Green Bay for Carolina next week isn't it? I'd like to be able to share your optimism but I can't. Go Panthers though. 👍

I go back to my last few days at FSU while waiting to move out. I was pissed when we passed on Keuchly to take Tannehill. "You can't win without a QB" they said. Well, Keuchly just won Carolina's QB his first playoff game. Meanwhile, Tannehill is sitting at home.

Absolutely! Why not have them go to the NFC Championships? It would be HILARIOUS if they made it that far.

They will probably demolish either opponent. Did you see how they played tonight??

In a way, I kind of want to see what would happen if the Carolina Panthers made it to and won Super Bowl XLIX. You know- "we finished the regular season with a losing record and won in a brutal division, but we still are the best." Carolina, by the way, won their first Playoff match since 2005 (I believe) with their win over the Arizona Cardinals in beautiful Charlotte at their amazing stadium.

Congratulations to all winners from today's games and tonight's games.

These refs...... I just..

It would have been better if we tipped the ball less aggressively on the punt, because even if Baltimore recovered then we would likely have a touchdown from good field position and only need another touchdown plus a two-pointer to tie it up.

That's a bit unrealistic in less than 2 minutes. Granted, I've seen Ben go a full drive in less than 45 seconds, Baltimore would've killed the clock.
They should had of gone for it on 4th when they were on the third yard line in the first half. If they didn't make it, Baltimore would've been on the 3. That's what I don't understand about coaches, is when you are withing the five yard line, why not go for it on fourth down? If you don't make it, they have horrible field position...

Like John said, field goals won't win it.... Tomlin never got that memo pre-game.

Yeah I did and the defence especially is playing very, very well at the moment. (Great to Stewart running the ball effectually again too) Just trying not to get my hopes up too much. Happy enough that they even made the playoffs in the first place. :)

Stuart Scott passed away, sad day. I wondered why he wasn't on MNF doing to the halftime preview segment this season. Link.

Definitely will be missed, one of my favorite anchors ESPN's ever had, him and Chris Berman.

He had cancer. I knew that much. Very young to lose the fight at 49. About the same age my aunt lost her fight.

I loved Stuart Scott, and he'll be surely missed. On a much lighter note, get ready for these matches:

* Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts
* Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys

Enjoy today's games if you'll be watching.

I'm honestly kind of surprised that Stuart's passing doesn't have its own thread. The guy was a legend in the sports world.

It's hard to turn the subject and move on from death, but I have to look forward to today's games (even though Scott's passing kind of dilutes the games for me). The Lions might be in good shape because the Cowboys tend to be terrible at home. They're 8-0 on the road, but all of their losses are at home. This might help out Detroit a little bit.

Preferably I want Dallas to win so we play in Seattle, weather in Green Bay won't be in our favor.

both games in carolina were low scoring close honestly boring games that carolina lost in the end with turnovers.. if they match up like that again panthers have a chance if they are mistake free.
they just cant let seattle get a jump on them and have to play from behind

like last night cardinals only scored because of two careless turnovers
