Roger is really on the hot seat since he dropped the ball badly with the Ray Rice situation. He needs to redeem himself fast if he wants to remain commissioner.

As the Ray Rice saga continues, the game still goes on. And tonight, it's the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Baltimore Ravens. BAL is reportedly favored by 1 tonight. Let's start a new week of NFL action!

Good luck to all of your team(s) this weekend.

This is shaping up to be a physical game already. Guess I should have expected it since they are divisional rivals.

Tannehill is such a dumbass. Joe Philbin too. I expect both of them to be gone by the time Christian Hackenburg graduates.

Really nice to know that our place kicker decides to miss kicks during the season when we need him to get us the points..... I honestly thought that he'd miss the PAT too.

EDIT: It sure is the same old Lions. Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. No wonder why I'm watching baseball instead of the Lions game.

Here's my summary of the Dolphins game:

I guess that the Lions and Dolphins both decided to suck this week. It would have been a toilet bowl if they faced off this week.

The weather was sunny and beautiful in Oakland, but the black and silver had an stormy day. My Houston Texans took care of business in Oakland 30-14. A late touchdown by Oakland was severely inconsequential. They even tried to prolong their would-be fail by going onside kick. And hey- J.J. Watt got a catch... and a touchdown!Arian Foster got plenty of work and asserted himself nicely. Ryan Fitzpatrick accounted for 14 of 19, 139 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. The Texans are 2-0 while Oakland is 0-2. Up next for the Texans is a trip to the other coast, as we're going to have some New York Giants problems at Metlife Stadium. If the Colts lose tomorrow night, we'll be the only AFC South team that won this week.

On deck as of this post is sumbrownkid's Chicago Bears playing at the Santa Clara... uh, San Francisco 49ers.

Congratulations to this week's other winners up to and beyond the time of this post.

[UPDATE] Ryan Fitzpatrick went 14 for 19, not 15 for 19. I made the edit.

That Oakland double fumble was one of those plays that turned out to be a "did that just happen?" play. If the Bears win, every team in the NFC North will be 1-1.

It isn't that hard to win (or lose) a game when one team shows up and the other tires to imitate Oprah's generousness with the football.

San Francisco was ballin'... until the second half happened. Chi-Town was ballin' themselves as the Bears rallied from way back to win. I think SF led 17-7 at the Half. Chicago ended up winning 28-20. Jumping on the 49ers' Facebook fan page, many of the fans were unimpressed with Colin Kapernick's performance. In fact, a lot of them put the blame on C. Kapernick for the Niners' loss on Sunday night.

And so with this Bears win, as stated by our own AnthonyD1993, every team in the NFC North is now 1-1 on the season so far.

As a final thought, if you're on social media, kind of snoop around on Facebook or Twitter or something with winning teams and losing teams. You never know just how much a win or a loss is taken by some people. Some fans after wins think their favorite team will finish undefeated and win the title. Some fans after losses think the season is a lost cause, and that everybody needs to be fired. It's a crazy world- offline and online. So kind of snoop around every now and then just to see what others think about wins and losses.

Eagles at Colts TONIGHT!

We got two teams ready to go full speed in Indianapolis. Only that the drama and excitement will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium rather than the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It's the 1-0 Philadelphia Eagles getting some Midwestern hospitality from the 0-1 Indianapolis Colts. Philadelphia had to rally from a 17-0 deficit hosting Jacksonville to win 34-17, and the Indianapolis Colts came off of a 31-24 loss on Sunday night last week. Who'll take victory tonight?

Indianapolis is favored by 3 according to Yahoo! Sports. Either Philly remains unbeaten, or Indy levels out their record at 1-1. We'll see tonight whom improves their record.

Collinsworth last night referring to a defender who narrowly missed tacking the quarterback.

"You know he was smelling sack".

Peterson's now being investigated for another beating of a child of his. Peterson has at least five children with multiple different women, and is believed to have as many as seven kids out of wedlock.

So he can't control himself just like Cromartie can't. I'm fast losing respect for this man.

I have a hunch that his reinstatement is mainly due to the Vikings losing badly to the Patriots. Nonetheless, I don't think it'll matter much since I think the Lions and Vikings will take third and fourth in the NFC North since they both have a long way to go (unsure of which will place where). Anyway, for tonight's game, I'm torn on who to call a winner. It might really depend on which defense shows up first.
