DFP about £45-£60
G25 which I've just ordered a new one for £145.

Ime about 3-4 seconds faster with the wheel but look at Grim Reaper he's still faster and he uses a pad.

Most people will say the wheel are much better as you have better control.
 
Oh sorry Sphinx! I owe you a thanks by the way buddy and probably an apology! And thanks guys for the prices-no game shops around here seem to have them in or know anything about them! Internet is the best way to do it i guess! So any word on when the private rooms will be arriving?
 
No improvement for me, unfortunately there has been a lot of unexpected events that don´t allow me to submit a clean race...but I tried this setup, which i really liked...you guys are free to try, and tell me your inputs...

Experimenting a bit with division tagging and GTP_ naming. Tell me what you feel please?

EDIT (1g) means division one gold, (3s) division 3 silver, (5b) division 5 bronze, etc.

Trimmed some more time out last night (wish I could keep myself to half hour sessions like fellow Div 3'er uk86ze but I'm not that good yet):

If the Ranking and Quicktune are being reset, this implies a physics and/or PP calculation change. This would have an impact on race results before and after the change.

They're resetting all the pretunes and all the TT records, which indicates a physics change. I'm just wondering if we treat pre and post change times equally.

Of course PD probably won't do the update before the 6th.

Thanks :). I actually haven't changed it because:
1. Haven't had to use it online since I haven't been racing online in gt5p since before gtp tags came into play

2. Most people have already added me as j-pap from before getting the gtp_ tag so I have been lazy to re-add them to my gtp account (though admittedly I don't think most of those people on my list even still play gt5p)

3. I'm thinking if possible to change my gtp tag so pending that answer will add it then :)

New time for me (finally found a car lineup that suits my driving : skyline coupe + lotus Elise). Way better lap 1 thanks to nearly no traffic (well there is, but where it should be!).
Lap 2 : 1.52.430
Lap 3 : 1.53.272 (So happy to have overtaken 15 cars cleanly that I can't keep my concentration...). Not happy with my lap 3 but it's clean.

Must say lap 3 is the hardest in a sense. Sure in lap one and two you somewhat expect the AI to stuff you up in one way or another. But for lap 3 there is the fear that you finally after 50 dirty runs have managed to get your first 2 laps clean and fast. You need argue with yourself between trying to push hard and trying to not stuff up.

There were so many times my lap two was stuffed up approaching the bus stop or even earlier on by braking too early into turn one.
 
Nice times yannc 👍 My lap 3 time was slowed partially because I was so afraid of screwing it up after all those failed attempts on laps 1 and 2. Then, when I finally got a clean run going, I was racing too conservatively on the 3rd lap. I was so happy to finally have a clean run that I posted just what I had and left it at that.
 
Yeah, lap 3 is difficult...so much pressure! I know I can go below 1.53 for the third lap (I have overtaken everybody right after the chicane so I'm on my own for more than a lap) but it is just so difficult to get the 2 first lap clean that you have to play it safe. My problem is that I generally go wide or brake too early in these conditions...

About the resetting, fair enough :nervous: never thought of that.
About the 6th, I don't know. Both the California and the Citroen Concept will be shown at the Paris Motor Show starting tomorrow so we might be in for a surprise for breakfast first thing :)

Finally, after long break I had some time to play GT5:P (time off work due to nasty cold;)

I was following this thread and was really looking forward to try this race.
After number of tries I managed to do a clean run:
L2 - 1'52.916
L3 - 1'52.754

One of the best things about this event is that you learn to watch out for other cars in front/behind/anywhere near you. I hope this will contribute to even cleaner races with GTP crowd.

I will try to find a better grid so I can compete with uk86ze and holden - amazing times guys:tup: Div 3 will be very competitive!

Not very good laps compared to what is possible, but I made a clean run at least. I'll make a few more attempts now that the pressure is off, but I don't think I can better my first lap from this save, too bad lap 2 is so much slower than 3.

Some really great times being run by all the divisions. Excellent perseverance, people!

I got my second clean race today. I am nowhere near you most (all) of you but I will take any improvement I can get

Lap 2: 1'58.173
Lap 3: 2'00.289

I have seen laps as (relatively) low as 1'56.xxx but never in a clean race. Hopefully I will get another chance to try this a couple of more times and make some 1'56's in a clean race.

Big Racer there is an error. You have given Superwally my times. Superwally's times are different to mine.
