My head's starting to hurt ... so it's just relative to different regions, eh.

Can't wait for the new packet of RM Replicas....:D

Lets agree, tonight I will share the 3 RM cars I created.
I will post the HP (PS) specs on those 3 cars as how I see them in my GT5.
If you both could borrow the cars, check specs and report here which numbers you see. We can easily see who has which measurements.

OK?

ps. Everybody finished with the Streetgasm cars (and Ferrari)?

I am sorry for stir this s*** up again. :banghead: :banghead:
Let's move on :guilty:

Sounds good 👍
These RM replicas are what I am waiting for. :)
I am sure we won't have any problems from a borrow car.
It will only display your own measurements.

Cheers :gtpflag:

That is exactly what we're after.....who is using which measurements.
So, we should include a few more friends in this, and figure out all different region/language changes.

I've changed my language to Greek (could only choose XMB-configured language or Greek) and ended up with same number, but in PS.

Let me please unconfuse all of you with the BHP, HP, DIN, PS.

The shared car, the traded car etc, NEVER decrease or increase his power. The changes we see is because of the different measurement of BHP, HP etc.

The only difference is in what measurement each PS3 works.

It need a little test...We change the language of PS3 (English and topic). So far I know 2 complications.

PS3 No 1. BHP or HP

PS3 No 2. HP or PS

(The colors explain what of these are the same for 2 PS3 with these different complications)

If I know where Iam, in 1 or 2 complication, then I always know how to measure if I need to . The mess is when I see HP of No 1 and the other guy sees HP of No 2.

My English aren't so good and I don't know if I managed to make you understand :nervous:

Yeah we all trying to explain that, not?
Getting confused now too...

Car A, I upgrade to 538HP (my HP):
I send the car to 99999E and he sees in his GT5 "HP", while that number equals BHP (my HP / 1.0138).

So that leaves us with?

Is the calculations based on region wrong?
If my car shows 538HP and that same car (after transfer) shows 530HP on another GT5/PS3...(in this case 99999E)...

If you read carefully my post you will understand that you are No 1 HP and 9999Evo is No 2 HP. The car never decreased the power. The PS3 changed the measurement.

I will post photos in a minute with final explanations...

It could have been 99999EVO over looked "HP" or "BHP"
Like costas said, send as gift or borrow will not change the car.
It's all depends on your own PS3 setups.

Here's my PS3:
Some "system language" show "HP" ---> English (US)
and others "system language" show "PS" ---> Chinese

Anyone here has a PS3 using "BHP" ?
If we go into "New Car Dealer"
pick the same car and see what we got 👍

Let's say the Acura NSX
that's the only car in there.

Not to make it more complicated....but I'll check again tonight...

When I switched from Dutch to Greek last time, my HP became PS and the numbers stayed on spot!
So does that mean I have option 3??

NOW, you make it complicated again....:banghead:

Except if you mean Hp became to PS...

The Macedonia is in Greece my friend !

This is FYROM not Macedonia. I know you just copied this but it's my duty to fix this mistake (not your mistake). :)

HP unequal hp which stands for Hewlett-Packard but with lowercase.

Really tricky thingy with conversions PS to HP, BHP and vice versa.
At least you should use a hp computer to do.

Monkey science!! Always the best! :)

Hope your doing well, Mr Photographer hahaha
