There will be ongoing fixes and updates in the background, it's not like they literally just spend 6 days working on one specific update. 1.08 was probably not far off ready to roll and they've been able to get it out with the fix.

A little tweet or a clarification would've been nice, but if they do deliver ice cream, then all shall be forgiven
I think it's much different than that, their CM needs to have some information from Polyphony to have a certain clarification on the subject and make a formal apology, they can't talk that much in this situation.

Until its fixed there is not much to say. They already said it took longer than expected and pushed a new update. What more do you want? A sincere apology and icecream?
Some kind of ETA would have been nice. The last update we got from them was 24 hours ago, the game has been unplayable and we still have no idea when we can expect the game to be back online. If you don't communicate people are going to start making their own assumptions and expectations on when the game should be back online, it's in PDs interest to manage expectations and be as clear about timescales as they can be.

An explanation as to why people havent been able to play their $70 game for over 30 hours?
I was trying to keep the mood a bit lightened here after the more then 500 sad/cries in the 1.07 thread. And like most of Europe we pay EUR 80 here which translates to $88...

I am aware. A simple "yes we are working on an update" would've been cool. Send a message with a pigeon carrier, something, anything.

Anyone on PS4 able to read what the patch notes say? On PS5 they removed the ability to check patch notes from the PS home screen for some reason lol.

They probably have the old "Check www.gran-turismo.com for information" but worth trying.

Yeah my background is tech support, infrastructure. One thing I've found everywhere is customers/users hate nothing more than being kept in the dark.

Even if its a quick line to apologise and give rough eta, or when we may know more and provide eta/more detail around the issue.

Anything that let's tge customer know roughly where they stand. Otherwise people can start speculating, getting annoyed and it's taking up their thoughts.

Astonishing imo that a multi million firm involved in retail doesn't seem to know the importance of this.

Why don’t they solve the effects?? So they’re obscene and unrealistic.
At least put the possibility of adjusting them!
Stop, you're meant to be complaining about the server issues at this present time.

Please reserve all other complaints until we are back online.

Thank you for your patience.

Just think, you could have been spending those wasted hours grinding to afford a leggy Alfa MiTo from the used car dealership ;)

I guess this isn't the kind of explanation for you were expecting, then. To each their own.

They have not tweeted anything for over 24 hours, haven't acknowledged any questions or concerns, nada. Just left us in the dark for over a whole day.
