Adding to the display at the end of a race... just like in GTA5, I hate seeing the player who won the event!

But when t comes to racing, if the winner had smashed out a cracking race, why the hell not show his name? They could mark the top 3 somewhere beside your stats too

Perhaps show the winner but also a list of who set the fastest lap, who was consistently the fastest, who had the least incidents, who gained the most places etc

Because it's not the first time it's happened.

The current Street Fighter did almost exactly the same thing, BF4 and R6S both changed roll out schedules to focus on fixing problems following community backlash.

What's being suggested isn't unheard of, quite the opposite and it's arguably a part of modern game development.

It's also 100% the right thing to do.
Well I haven't heard instances of games being changed in reaction to community backlash. At least not within the sim racing domain anyway

Sorry for the confusion. I hadn't read that post and misinterpreted your post as you suspected. :dunce: That's on me. Sorry.

In regards the 56.4% I didn't mean that was a minority. If you release an online focused Esport title and only 56.4% achieve the really difficult task of watching a pair of two minute videos before you can race online at all then clearly something is amiss.
Then Kaz has completely failed. Many people don't care about online racing, especially if they have had bad experiences time and time again. I enjoy the online racing element a lot, I think it's great but a large percentage disagrees with me.

People who compare GT sport to street fighter lose all credibility. Streetfighter V literally lacked an arcade mode. You know the mode every fighting game has? That would be like GT sports shipping with ONLY time trials and sport mode. GT sport also launched with more content than did Drive club/ both current gen need for speeds / the first P cars. Streetfighter V was literally rushed out for EVO in a near unplayable state.

I thought we'd have it by now.

I'm predicting next week after Christmas, oh well it'll give me time to play Need For Speed Payback's new DLC coming out Tuesday and same with NASCAR Heat 2's DLC coming out Thursday

Need for Speed already has DLC, clearly an unfinished game.

FYI I haven't played it so I really have no idea if that is true, just being sarcastic due to the complaints about GTS.

I give PD until Wednesday, If it doesn't drop by then we can safely assume its been delayed, Something were more than accustomed to where PD is concerned.

It should be said, I'm really not holding much hope for it releasing within the week, PD would have updated the in-game notices to let people know a day by now.

I've been thinking this for a while! Every game has DLC nowadays but the only one that I'm aware of that gets the 'unfinished' tag is Gran Turismo! I can see it now:

GT7 (If it comes); 1000+ cars all to the smallest detail, every FIA track, dynamic weather and time, best online ever, scapes with included photoshop!!
- Couple months later: here are some free new cars, and a couple tracks, we have also added new championships to GT League for you to enjoy!!

GT Planet Community: DLC!! I knew this game was unfinished PD SUCK!!!

Ugh, unless GT7 came with an exhaustive, current gen quality line up of every sweet Japanese ride from 1980 to 2000, I don't want it having anywhere near 1000 cars again.

Nice strawman...................

GTS gets the same criticism that other titles get when they are released in either an un-finished or buggy state. If they were to release a full finished and feature complete package I'm quite certain that they would get acknowledged for just that.

However that has arguable not been the norm for GT across the last three titles, and for the industry for a generation.

GT sport is neither unfinished or buggy. It has bugs, all games have bugs, but a buggy game is a game that is literally bug riddled to the point of significantly hindering gameplay and are generally noticed by any one who has played the game for a few hours ( Skyrim, Both Project cars, Mass effect andromeda, Fall out etc ) Unfinished means the game is, well unfinished! It was released too early and had significant portions of content cut or has features that don't work/ never implemented. Examples of unfinished games are relatively rare, but a great example would be MGSV and No man's sky.

Now if you guys stated GTS had little content RELATIVE to other major titles, I would agree. If you said GT sport has a few pestering bugs that need to be squashed, I agree! Or heck that GT needs to improve its physics system I agree

But buggy and unfinished.. ha okay then. By that logic any sequel with less content than its predecessor is unfinished and any game with bugs is buggy. Also, physics flaws are not bugs.

GTS will have more content that any GT game that has come before.

That was the claim made by the studio head, so either its unfinished or that was an outright lie.

Oh and if it has bugs, then its buggy, semantics are not needed in this case and you don't get to force a definition of a term that is utterly subjective.

Exactly my point. Thanks for the back-up!!
