And it's not an SR, which IMO is a good thing.
No, but he has helped to get one running more than once.Have you ever owned an SR powered car? IMO one of the best 4 cylinders ever produced by Nissan.

Most likely a "sticking a motor in another car from another car with the budget of a typical drifter" thing.I've owned 4 cars with them, all FWD, but never had any problems. Not one. Maybe it's a turbo thing.
Then you shall enter driveways backwards. Like a boss. Yeah I guess speedbumps are a problem whenever you lower the car since it has some lower parts in the undercarriage
EDIT: I think some of those angles might have to be a lot more than 45 degrees. My driveway for example....
Speed bumps were impossible months ago.
Forwards or backwards won't help. If I don't scrape it going in, I'll hook it to the ground and tear it off backing in.Then you shall enter driveways backwards. Like a boss. Yeah I guess speedbumps are a problem whenever you lower the car since it has some lower parts in the undercarriage

The problem lies mostly with the gearbox, the gears feel like they're made out of glass.
EastBear replica. (theirs is discontinued)C-West replica?
The problem with SRs is that most drifters are broke and can't afford to actually make it run right, or at all. Cheap parts, built in your garage, etc. Then of course there are V8s and RBs, which make SRs kinda pointless.
Regarding the SR, if done right they can be very impressive. Just look at what Tomei can cook up with one..

Only car I've got at the moment. Planning on finding something else to drive in the near-ish future though.Nice front bar dude. Do you have a daily driver to burn around in or is this is?
Sr swaps are not more rare now. Everyone and their mom still has them, it's just other ones are starting to become more popular. Not to mention, with everyone doing LS or RB swaps now days, SR swaps are more rare now. Just how I like it....being different.
The LS1 swap is really good swap but lately it's been making everything kind of bland since that is practically what everyone does (at least in the drifting world.) For me I would use the SR swap, for numerous reasons, originality being one of them, plus the fact that they're becoming more rare.
Or you could be really different and swap in a S52 from a BMW...
