So what we have new now? The sequel of sequel of sequel of Fifa, Uncharted, Batman, Dragon Age, Far Cry, Battlefield, Assassin Creed... Is that it? Really? No new IP's?
The only cool thing is MGSV in HD but when will it be released?

Actually PS4 have no games. More than happy I have delayed the purchase.
MGSV is the only big hype but the rest is epic yawn.

^ Creating new IP's isn't a simple process to make, so it's better for them to reuse their existing franchises & recreate them from scratch for next-gen (current-gen) consoles. Anyway, NaughtyDog is currently working on another ip, besides Uncharted & The Last of Us. ;)

Yes but actually would be better if Sony include a tube of vaseline in PS4 box so the final user would feel less pain. ;)
Not impressed but seems like it's 2006 all over again..

I'm seriously questioning the point of buying a PS4 in the next 12 months. Maybe pCars in november if they don't delay...

The order 1866 is new and looks pretty promising

Destiny looks like it's gonna be great

No mans sky looked interesting

Planetside 2 will be out on ps4 soon and it looks fantastic

The division looks like it may be the greatest game ever made

Drive club is coming and the crew

Warthunder just came out

Some game called bloodborn or something

Those are all either new IPs or with planetside it's new to consoles

There was also a bunch of pretty cool looking indie games shown.

If you don't like shooters though your screwed but really that's gaming in general on consoles.

I'm sure I missed a few games too. This year and the near future actually looks like it's gonna have more new AAA IPs released then I've seen in a long time.

I'm not sure what you watched but most of the games looked amazing they showed. Assasins creed is gonna be 4 player coop, far cry will be coop and the other person doesn't even need to own the game.

To me it looked like Sony had a pretty great showing. I'm excited about several of the new games.

And RAINBOW SIX!!!!! It's back and looks great

That new ip better be Crash Bandicoot! If it isn't I'm blaming you. ;)

These are decent games, I mean stuff that gets a 95/100 I still have to see a PS4 title deserving more than 85/100. MGSV and PCars will probably gets a 95 but the rest?
I don't care a whole lot for Pcars. I've had it from the beginning and it's not all that great so don't hold your breath for that one. As far as racing games go the ps4 seems screwed for awhile except for arcade racers. I've kind if given up for anything decent as far as racing on consoles.

I really don't know how you can't think The Division doesn't look amazing. Rainbow six also looked like it might be the COD killer I've been waiting on. Planetside 2 is a great game.

I'm just not sure what you were expecting. Every game they showed look amazing graphically and there implementing coop into about everything. I've never got into assasins creed but 4 player coop shoulda make it really fun.

For me this had been the best E3 I've ever seen for games and new IPs.

I guess for single player games though maybe it wasn't that great. Maybe your more of a story driven single player gamer. I'm all about playing with friends and competitive multiplayer so for me this game lineup looks really promising.

As I said on the other thread I've never got that game. The actual gameplay is super basic, I tried both previous titles and never finished either, got bored. Whenever I bring that up with friends and other people they always say the same thing, you've got to play it with friends so I guess that is where I went wrong, I played it on my own.

Still, a game should still be fun in single player and I'd personally take Rayman over LBP as my platformer of choice any day.

The new Rayman games are absolutely fantastic, unfortunately it basically bombed on all platforms, having the most success with Wii U(in regard to attach rates). Which is ironic, because it is a 90+ everywhere on Metacritic. :indiff:

Yeah the line-up is great if you like shooters and gritty medieval style stuff. If you don't, there is nothing standing out.

I sat here and watched you moan through most of the pressers about everything besides the new Batman. Ironically a gritty shooter. You ever thought of finding a new hobby?

Little Big Planet is all about the level editor

Just a few things I created with it (sad how I have better damage and crash physics then GT)

I'm sorry for having an opinion. Oh and how is Batman a shooter? He doesn't use a gun.

The Batmobile shoots things, I don't think that would make the game qualify as a shooter though.

I generalized.... Just like you. He shot a tank... Its a shooter. Can you see the similarity to your own statements? There was plenty of variety on show from all the pressers, despite what you claim.

I'm not saying you are wrong with all your assessments of the games but, come on! Everything was not shooters and gritty period action games! Stop being such a drama queen.

 That's awesome!

LBP3 is always welcome though. :D

Although, it does speak volumes that many people aren't even mentioning it. It will probably be PS4's best game.

(I know it's not a new IP)

No kidding. I was all excited seeing the videos for FM5's Nurb and FH2 gameplay yesterday, when Youtube suggested an LBP3 video at the end of them. Forget all the other stuff that interests me with this current generation - LBP will be the single game that proves to be the tipping point for purchase of either system, for me.

It's a shame that Media Molecule aren't in charge but LBP is in great hands. All those layers compared to LBP2.

I was waiting for PS4 to give me something to challenge my interest in the XBOne thanks to Sunset Overdrive, and I got it. I'm more than happy with my Wii U until the game stream runs down for now, but it will be a tough decision when it comes, perhaps made easier by LBP.

If only Sony didn't kill WipEOut.

Perhaps I did slightly exaggerate but I can't help my opinion that very little shown made me want to buy a next gen console, not exclusives anyway. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate all shooters but I don't play FPS at all (Make me nauseous) and whether I like a third person game depends on a few factors.

Most of my 'issue' with the Sony showing is that they had very little new stuff, it was all stuff I was already expecting or was already announced. So don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to some of the games but I struggled to get excited by stuff I'd already seen. There were no wows for me, nothing that made me think "Right, I need a PS4 now I've seen that".

I'm not an online player I need a new IP's similar to Metal Gear Solid but not Metal Gear Solid since with Phantom Pain they'll probably tells everything that can be told and the glorious series will come to an end.
Why not a Crash Bandicoot on PS4... Or something like Dino Crisis..
I obviously expect a new Wipeout on PS4 and I'm shocked the don't have one already.
Also a racing game similar to Need For Speed Underground 2 in the memory of Paul Walker would be cool...

I can see we like completely different types of games. I'm into the sim racing games and competitive online types. I do love metal gear though and uncharted. Hopefully the new metal gear is great. I loved the one on ps3. It was probably my favorite game from that gen. That and socom confrontation.

I'm kind of suprised we didn't see anything about the DayZ knockoff sony is making or the game the socom 2 devs are making that is gonna be a new socom 2.

I'm kind of in the same boat, but seeing the Witcher and Assasins Creed just made me want a PS4 so much, these two alongside CARS DriveClub Watchdogs Destiny and second son should be enough entertainment till the 2015 blockbusters. Oh and some interesting indies as well.

Agreed, most of what Sony shown is either out, a PC port, a shooter or a last gen port.

Not sure if owning a PS4 makes me biased but I do find it more convenient to play the PC ports (War Thunder and Outlast demonstrated this), however I was expecting far more from Sony this time around and not "We are porting GTA V", I was expecting more for support for the Vita, I was expecting something about The Last Guardian (which at this point is simply in development hell), I was expecting something more than the usual shooters parade (I don't care about LBP, played it once, fun platformer but not something that can win my attention for more than half an hour).

I didn't care about Sunset Overdrive (which seems to be a cross between Infamous and Jet Set Radio) yet we got another Infamous. No interesting IPs for Sony, neither from it's 3rd party partners (AKA like Ace Combat Infinity on PS3 or maybe a Ridge Racer, nor Yakuza 5 to US Territories or anything of the like).

It doesn't help that my PS4 PSU is broken and now I have to send it to Sony to fix it, that said, I do want to play The Crew on it, I want to play AC4 on it and I want to play Far Cry 4 on it, maybe even P-Cars depending on how my computer handles such a thing. I prefer it as a main platform for multiplatform games, but as a exclusives console leaves much to be desired.

Here I hope PS TV somehow boosts attention to the Vita and yields some games for it, rather than existing as a platform for the PS Now thing.

I'm into sim racing as well, but I also lived PS1, PS2 and PS3 era. Actually after so many years LOL at the age of 30 there are less chances I can be impressed by a shooters like Destiny, Killzone, Battlefield etc.. because I did that already 10 years ago with Quake III Arena, Unreal Tournament and had my amazing run with fast paced multiplayers shooters. If I was 16 I would probably swearing about Killzone, COD, *insert random modern fps here* but now I'm 30 and they just don't click with me anymore... because I did that stuff already.

Now I'm hungry of single player catching stories, I started playing RPG's, Kingdom Of Amalur is great, Dark Souls 2 is in my buy list, but I'm kind of shocked no one tried something remotely similar to Metal Gear Solid, well Splinter Cell maybe, but that's it.. correct me if I'm wrong. Tried Assassin Creed, not for me, I would prefer something military related but not an fps.

After sim racing, military stealth.. I'm interested into arcade games like good hack'n'slash / platforms and good futuristic arcade racers like Wipeout or street racers like Underground series. Who remember Rollcage? That game was awesome, one of the most fun games I've ever played. Hopefully PS4 will surprise me again.. maybe I'll wait 2 years with an increased game list. (I jumped into PS3 in q1 2010 and didn't regret it, found a solid game list).
