Okay, so any future DLC cars > 1M credits will have value. Then that's the only "good" thing. But it's still a stupid workaround for a broken game. If I win two X2010s and I want to gift one to a friend, using the in-game car-gifting option, why shouldn't I be allowed to? (And the fact is that I did and now I can never get it back.)1) makes any DLC or extra content worth something. I agree pretty much every car in the game has already been duped, but if there are new cars well it will stop them from being duped.
To join you need to create a PSN account that begins with "GTP_". Since then I've been gifting cars from my original account to that one, and now I'm screwed. Why do you need mulpiple accounts to race online?
Doesn't really matter to me but the way some ppl talk you would think its a trading game, then driving.
You're required to create a GTP_(gamertag) account to participate in the GT Planet Weekly Race Series. Example, GTP_SS1182, etc.
Not really. In a franchise that was always celebrated for the freedom it allowed in regards to playing it however you wanted, the simple fact that GT5 is so painfully linear is an objective problem by itself. That PD has spent their time since day one going out of their way to make it even more linear (by doing things like this, whose only purpose is to prevent people from playing it like previous games in the series allowed) just makes the problem worse.Saying you shouldn't have to farm is an opinion on what you like in a game.
It's funny you say that 'cause I was actually mad at how non-linear it was. First there were the license tests, which would level you up past the beginner events. And then there were the seasonal events that would level you up to like 12 after one race! And once you were that high, the stupid graduated-experience system meant that low-level events were worthless for both money and experience. Not really. LOL, you're misunderstanding. We WANT it to be a driving game, and we're mad that they've made it so hard and annoying to actually get to DRIVE the cars that are in the game!!Doesn't really matter to me but the way some ppl talk you would think its a trading game, then driving.
Ahh, ok i do feel a little bad for enjoying the change, but it did really annoy me people that would be able to get the reward the seasonal event multiple times.
You can play GT5 two ways: You can grind to unlock events and cars. Or you can do the Special Events. And it was obvious that PD basically required you to do the latter because of how crappy the experience rewards were for normal races (plus a bunch of little niggling things that exacerbate the problem). It's funny you say that 'cause I was actually mad at how non-linear it was.
I predict the value of random tickets will increase sharply in the near future.
What do you think about the fact that cars over 1,000,000 credits cannot be gifted?
EDIT: Guys, let's not try to get this thread closed.![]()
Its not just over 1million. Just tried to gift a touring car worth 973k & cant
No. It is anything in the game whose base price is 1 million or more. The used cars with prices like 973,000 and etc. have base prices of a million credits, and the prices you pay are adjusted down based on mileage.Oh so its not just 1 million its anything from the ucd or ocd as well? Well that makes it even worse.
I like it.
