I'd like to see his methodology, which for some reason is not forthcoming in either that article or the original article it quotes.

I remember this guy from the last election. Here he predicted President Obama would be reelected. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/helmut-norpoth/new-hampshire-primary-for_b_1200199.html

At the time I thought the guy was nuts. Republicans seemed so energized to get that guy out of office, I thought for sure it was going to be a Republican landslide victory.

Paul puts forward a Bill endorsed by him and Democrat senator Cory Broker, Banning solitary confinement for under 18 year olds charged with non-Violent Crimes(plus more), Tells Hillary Clinton to prove her claims by signing the Bill.

Black and Hispanic Democrats are more likely to see themselves as "moderate" than white Democrats:

Just as with white voters, the concerns of Hispanic and black voters are mostly economic. There's an ongoing thread (nearly three days old, and it's Reddit so I might as well leave a NSFW language warning) in /r/NeutralPolitics on why Sanders isn't doing so well amongst ethnic minorites if you want to read more. /u/20_TwentyTwo's comment (NSFW language) and the thread that followed pretty much summed up why black people prefer the Clintons. Despite Bernie's involvement in the civil rights movement in the 60s and 70s, there's a conspicuous gap in his record on black issues in the 80s and 90s during the Reagan administration and its aftermath, which took a toll on black communities through trickle-down economics and cutting social programs.

This is happening because today's youth of racial participants isn't connected with history and the knowledge they should on such a critical subject. Same people whose parents were probably more glued to the OJ trial than the suggestions made by Clintons at the time among other claims that should have a pivotal effect on voting. And something I hope Trump drags out and beats like a war drum come national election time. Not that I'd care to see Trump win or anything but these issues are only loudly talked about when some one publicly makes big noise.

Despite what Bernie did I find his contributions (positive or negative) not nearly as bad as Clinton, and this along with NAFTA and Whitewater and other scandals that riddled through the Clinton admin, but the ones that in particular due to her are why I dislike her, also because these are the ones that matter give her running for office. Or my favorite her attempt at health care reform in the early to mid 90s.

As for the minimum mandate on non-violent drug crimes, Obama in recent years has slowly tried to undo what his fellow democrats championed along with myopic republicans. So with her in the white house, I'd be worried to see if all that work gets quickly undone. She may say something at the moment in favor of minorities and mandatory minimums, but what people need to learn at some point is they'll say anything.

Truth is outside the establishment no one knows what she will do, nor do we know what she even believes, most of her radical changes in policy have came coincidently close to when she announced that she was going for presidency.

While she will say anything, the truth is the penal system is failing and change will continue due to necessity. We cannot keep locking up such huge numbers of population as it's obviously not sustainable.

We could spend some of that money in social programs for at risk youths in education instead. What a novel idea lol

I know, it's BS.

I mean I get the appeal of him being anti establishment, but apart from that he is just saying what ever with no context.

Yeah.... that debate was like watching three kids explain to their mother who broke the window..
I just posted something similar on my facebook page. MTV's The Real World - GOP Debate Comedy Hour

I can only imagine what the rest of the world is thinking when they see that. Is this really how we determine the leader of this country? What a load of crap.

Vicente Fox (who wins Most Awesome Name of 2016) says that if Trump wants a wall between Mexico and the United States, then Trump can pay for it:

http://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2016-...ttacks-trump-over-anti-immigrant-wall/7202398

I'm still not sure how Trump thinks that he can build the wall and bill Mexico for it.

I sometimes forget your locale, I was surprised you'd never heard the name of a famous (infamous) Mexican President. As for the whole Trump build and bill, which he's been talking about since his first hint at running...yeah I don't have an answer it's an ass backward idea is all I can say.

Oh, I'd heard it; I'd just forgotten it.

If he builds it on the American side of the border, the Mexican courts would reject any attempt to force their government to pay, as would any international body like the UN. If he tried to build it on the Mexican side of the border, the Mexicans would just not build it. Short of an invasion and a heist - which would be ridiculously illegal - there's no way to force them to pay

There is something however called, cooperation. Our border is a pretty big problem from Texas through New Mexico, and into Arizona. It would be in both countries best interest to address that.

Unless that wall is 50 meters under it isn't going to do much, massive tunnel systems going into the states.

The only way I see Mexico paying for that wall is if Trump puts heavy sanctions and or embargo till they pay up, which will probably create a DMZ scenario rather then a wall.

I doubt even that would work, since the international community would likely condemn it.
I know it won't work, but if Trump pushes it down soo hard it will give the impression he doesn't care what they think and given America's power it isn't going to be stopped.
Just Like Country's like Turkey don't care if they force a WW3 on its NATO partners to defend interests which are probably another level more extreme then even that.

That's if we get the Authoritarian Trump though, personally I have no idea what Trump will Actually be like because he hasn't given many clues to what he will actually do rather then say outrageous claims that make no sense outside of a mirror prep speech.

Well, you know we're all in trouble when Ben Carson sounds like the most rational person on the stage.
It's the notion we are all already in trouble that motivates people to vote for Trump and other men of action in the first place.

IMO, the Great Wall is merely a catchall name for a system of not just tall, multiply layered walls in places, but also fences, ditches, dikes, pitfalls, drones, robots, radars, listening and watching posts, and other measures designed and tailored to slow and monitor cross border activity to the satisfaction of authorities. When Trumps says Mexicans will pay for it, he does not mean directly, but indirectly by their loss of factories, contracts and jobs previously exported and but newly repatriated to the US.

Why is the wall ass backward. Should america allow an open border for anyone to head over here. As far as the mexican pres, I dont care what a corrupt mexican politician says, corrupt to the core, who governs over one of the most violent places on this earth... a man who's words are hollow as a balloon of hot air.

And tariffs. He's already on record saying he wants a return of American manufacturing and throwing up some tariffs on big ticket items made in Mexico which either creates revenue to build a wall and/or returns some manufacturing stateside creating jobs and tax revenue to fund a wall. Mexico's exports to the U.S. are a huge part of their GDP, much much more so than U.S. exports to Mexico, so in this case at least, the Donald would hold most of the cards in the negotiations.

Well, he holds most of the cards on the assumption that the companies in question want to go back to building things in the United States.

Considering it's the biggest market in everything basically it's possible, just depends how cheaply they can employ Bangladeshi children I guess, either way huge taxes, but price of living will soar.
