Well, I don't think I'll ever buy Xbox One, because of the mandatory Internet connection, no matter how great FM5 will be. Still, I won't go cry about it all over the interwebs, I'm just one of the minority big corporations never care about, but who make the most fuss all the same.

Even among a fan base, whiners are often the most noticeable group, just go read a random news entry here on GTP. Basing your judgement on that, GT franchise would have died long time ago.

I think I may get an Xbox One eventually. I've said PS4 will be my only console before, but there are games for Xbox that I just can't pass up. Well, actually, there are only 2 - Forza and Minecraft. Other than that, I'd get it just to play with the family (I'm the only one in my family getting a PS4) and friends.

For statistical purposes, it's worth disregarding the "PS4 before, PS4 after" votes because we're effectively a PS-focussed site.

Our members are more likely to be interested in PlayStation products primarily.

I was aware of that when I made my earlier statements, but I think that in comparison to the numbers you'd get from the PS3 and 360 the Sony lead will still be much larger anywhere, if not as large as it would be here.

In my case choosing between a PS3 and a 360 was a genuine choice, and my final choice of PS3 came when two of my friends lost 360s to the Red Ring of Death in quick succession. For me, and as it seems for many others, the Xbox One isn't even an option.

The 360 was a good console, held back by the cost of Xbox Live subscription and a bad reputation built from early reliability issues. (And for me the lack of Gran Turismo and LittleBigPlanet) The Xbox One just looks awful, although to me that doesn't mean the PS4 will necessarily be good enough. I'll need to see a lot more before I come to a conclusion on that.

On GTPlanet, yes. But as Famine said earlier and as I should have said if I was actually paying attention to the link between what my hands are typing and what I'm thinking in my brain, GTPlanet will have a Playstation bias due to being a fansite for a Playstation franchise, namely Gran Turismo. Still, I honestly find it surprising to see any support for Xbox One at all, but I guess for some people the allure of Halo and Forza Motorsport is just too great.

I think that a big problem for Microsoft here is that they've now shown themselves to be "nasty" in the eyes of the public, so even if they do go back on their policies to keep up with Sony, their support will already have taken a hit which may take years to recover. In turn, Sony have shown themselves to be "nice" in the eyes of the public, so they could introduce new policies over time restricting used games sales etc. without anywhere near the backlash Microsoft are facing.

Well played Sony, I hope you never do wind up introducing such policies.

It is like Microsoft are trying their best to repel consumers and the level of control they want to have will somehow make them successful. Polls on other websites I have seen are being dominated by PS4 like on here.

I'm sure you have your reasons, but have you ever tried Minecraft on PC? The potential of the PC version is lightyears ahead (compared to xbox 360 version).

Incredibly, I don't think a single one of the games announced for either console interest me at all. Seeing the list in Joie de vivre!'s post just made me realise this.

Wii U meanwhile has Smash Bros., Sonic Lost World, and Super Mario. Nintendo are winning in my ballpark.

For me the PS3 still has the best games this year, TLOU-GT6-GTA 5-MGS 5, although I preordered the PS4 my main machine will still be the PS3

Since 2011 I live and work near Lyon, France. Portugal is just my homeland.
But even if I lived Portugal, I would prefer waiting a decade to play on Xbox One rather than buy the PS4.

The Xbox One will certainly win the PS4 in next generation.
After what I saw at E3 Microsoft clearly dominated the Sony.
The exclusive Microsoft showed were much better.
HALO 5 will be the best FPS of 2014 for sure. Nuff Said
FORZA 5 is the true next gen Racing Game. Neither Driveclub(arcade,👎) nor GT6(for PS3, LOL) can compete against Forza. The AI will be the best in the best. And the graphics are stunning.
DeadRising3 maybe will be the best zombie game ever made.
MGSV will coming to XBOXONE
TitanFAll( will be an awesome MECHA game), Quantum Break, Witcher 3, Ryse (is so good) , Crimson Dragon ( AKA Panzer Dragon), Sunset overdrive, Project spark, D4 and MINECRAFt. Are better than the exclusives game that will be release on PS4.
The only good two good games that Sony showed KH3 and FFversus XIII, both games will be release on XBOXONE.
The XBOXONE controller is better than DS4(a controller with a blue light and touch. Are you serious Sony?.)
Kinect is the future. And the XBOXOne design is much better than the PS4. PS4 looks like a toaster

NO USED GAMES? I don't care! I buy my games on Amazon and is always new.

Always Internet On? I don't care! My Internet connection is fast and good.


500€? It's a fair price If the people are poor, why don't buy a gameboy or a PSP? Or go play flash games on pc.

Region Lock? I don't Care. All games that are release on USA are release in EU.

I would buy a PS4 to play FFversus XIII nad GT6 but. GT6 will be for PS3, and FFvsXIII will be release on XBOX ONE:tup:.

My choice will be XBOX ONE.

It's not entirely stupid when you can get a very good value of content with that price and they said in the conference that you can pay 5$ dollars a month too.
