I agree. Ever since DLC 1 I've been really impressed by PD.
I'm really happy with the selection of LeMans cars we've got so far.
Peugeot 908 - Fantastic example of modern engineering and design
Audi R10 - The diesel that changed everything
Mazda 787B - Legendary sound and presence along with reliability. Deserved it's place for daring to use an untraditional power-train.
And now we've gotten the return of Jaguar with the N/A that beat the Turbocharged opposition.

PD, great work! 👍

All the truest of statements! Although it seems the R10 is deemed slow and sluggish on the road in GT5, still, it is an amazing car in general ! Now if we can just fit the toyota GT1 somewhere in PD's premium schedule

Yeah the R10 was quite a disappointment, not so bad tuned. I haven't tried it since the physics change (2.00). Great cockpit view though.
The GT1 would be horrifically amazing in Premium. Just imagine the interior...

Anyway going off topic...

Yes, speaking of the interior, i noticed on the Jaguar , when you shift up and down, The little red light blinks :dopey: What of the yellow light:boggled:

 i got a colour without a name from this ,,new" jaguar. O_o
Can't remember me of any race car before that gave me a colour ...

It is "silk cut purple" but appearently in a glitched form. it will cuase no harm. Also, the 20millon credit Jaguar and Ford give pant chips :sly:

PD the smallest racing game company?? I can certainly name a few FAR smaller, with less backing and not as succesful too. That's for another thread though.

The only unfortunate thing is that it appears as if the performance balance is a bit out of whack. I read in another thread that a lot of the older LeMans racers had more horsepower than their real life counterparts had, making the Audi R10 unfortunately uncompetitive (at least in B-spec races).

Its dissapointing to say the least :( watching it get killed in B spec la sarthe seasonal is a stab wound to the heart !

Hopefully they'll fix that sooner rather than later. It seems to undermine the cars most of us would prefer to use.

It's a shame there's yet another error in a description of some of these GT5 cars.

"The XJR-9 LM faced off with powerhouses such as Nissan, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz at the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans."

There's an error in the Aventador description, too.

But at least the car looks great!

Do you think so? I mean the best times in motorsport are already in past (80's and early 90's)

Sorryi f this has been noted but has anyone else noted a bug with the new Jag that means that their are two set of lights? Driving at night I can turn my lights on or off manually but this only affects the headlights. Strangely when I turn off my headlight leaving the automatic lights on it appears to light the road better than if I had the two sets on.

I noticed that too  whats wrong with this Aventador's description :scared:?

Does the XJR-9 really produce 930hp in reality? Isn't it the case that many high performance cars actually have a lot more hp in reality than what is officially quoted hence why the Skyline and Supra have closer to 325-330hp rather than the 276hp which is always quoted?

The 787B has around 830hp after on oil change. The 88C-V also has around 930hp, just like the Jag. Did the late 80's LM racers produce a lot more hp?

Oh Yes! especially in Qualifying trim with the turbo engines.

Skip to about 49mins, He says it's 700bhp.

Race trim of Grp.C cars was about 750hp to be more fuel efficient, in quali they dialed up the boost pressure on turbo cars or just ran a full rich map (as there were no inlet restrictors) and the cars would make 1000hp+.

They did, but not as much as the do in the game. Especially not the normally aspirated ones like the XJR-9. The dealer HP is the HP that they should have.
