I took the super kart out for a spin the other night. Been a while. Man, it's more intense than an F1 car! Hacking it flat out round some corners at Nords I didn't think were possible without at least lifting. Properly mental. Shame it appears to be out of the sequel.

Well ive known the TL for ages, original tracks in pcars 1 are very good but i'm not really into ovals & kart & not sure about rally cross either so a fair few tracks that haven't been added that i wished for. Just personal preference.

Thruxton's just a better version of it. Faster with less runoff.

Uh no, it's not. Thruxton is a comparatively flat lap at ~30 feet elevation delta compared to Mosport's ~170 feet of elevation difference. Add in a blind cresting Turn 2 and the Turn 4, 5a, and b set for added difficulty and it's not even close. Mosport is a sensational lap and Thruxton is an airfield.

Edit: The entry of 5 to the highest point between 5a and b covers just about 35 feet of elevation.

I've only had a chance to run Mosport as a mod for AC and the track is absolutely exceptional in a sim as it is in real life. Been there many times as a fan. It's a classic in the vein of Bathurst and Nurburgring IMO.

Except Mosport has kilometers of tarmac runoff. It's like an undulating Paul Ricard.

If they really wanted to make this track list very specific they wouldv'e added
1. Circuit de la Sarthe no chicanes 2. All the layouts for Algarve 3. The formula e circuit for Monte Carlo 4. Barcelona's old layout 5. Nurburgring 24 VLN
6. Spa's Karting Circuit 7. Fuji no chicanes 8. Indy Texas and Daytona's karting tracks.
The tracklist is fire tho can't wait to try this out. Yall need to update the locations picture on the home site.

Spa's karting circuit is in the game. It was in PCars 1 as well.

I agree with all these. Although I'm pretty sure Greenwood is an unlicensed Spa Karting circuit. Plus, you missed the RX layout of Catalunya and the Formula E version of Long Beach.

Also, wish they added the option to have the F1/WEC Spa and the Combined Pits Spa.

How can anyone find time to play anything else?
People have to learn the circuits, learn the "new" tyre model, learn how each car behaves, learn how each car behaves over a stint. Then, try different AI setting. Then, put it all together in Practice and qualifying. Then do it in race conditions... at each track variation. Madness.

You forgot being blown away by the Formula X at Classic Spa. That sounds absolutely mental!

Only since the safety updates to bring it back to FIA spec. Prior to 2012 if oyu got the blind Turn 2 wrong (Blind entry, after a crest, full throttle) you were onto grass and then a concrete wall.

And here is footage of the first Canadian GP in 1967 at Mosport. As you can see, aside from some sightline improvements and a few paved runoff areas, as well as the concrete walls, the track has not changed at all. It's been made safer, but retained it's original layout, flow and character.

Several months ago, there was a build report that mentioned classic LM. I wonder if it's one of the four DLC tracks now.

Juicy tracklist! Rallycross, Ovals and Karts i am not even going to touch and still the list is fantastic. Love the classic stuff and I could see me running the vintage cars the most on it.

After watching Grand Prix (movie 1966) I can't wait to run classic Spa and even old Monza :)

Grouping the tracks by region, makes me think the career may be the same.

If I choose Asia/Oceania:

- GT Asia Series

- 24H Dubai

- Bathurst 12H

- 300km at Sugo(GT3 cars)

- Formula C at Sugo

-6h of Fuji(Choose LMP1, LMP2 or GTE)

Retro Career:

- 6H Zhuhai(might need the Peugeot 908 for this one ;) )

- Fuji 1000km Group C(unless we get a Classic Fuji at some stage)

- Sakitto 500km Group C

If I choose V8 Supercars Career, maybe it's a season at all the Asia/Oceania circuits x2. Could include a Europe & North America circuit.

So many possibilities...
