Are versions of the D1P available to professional reviewers/journalists ahead of the global launch for most games?

To remove the excessive return to center on pCars1 I adjusted two settings in the global FFB and the game changed completely for me on both my T300 and T150.

Literally set the FFB to default and then changed the Low Speed Spring coefficient and saturation to 0.3

Can also change the Menu Spring strength to 0 to remove the stiff wheel feel while in the menus as well.

These are pretty much the best settings I have found so far.. Wish I had found out about this two years ago. :D I only set the coefficient and saturation to 0,5 and now it feels pretty good with CSL elite on ps4.

Anybody know if we are still able to change these kind of things on consoles in pcars2 or is it only the flavors and a couple of sliders now? @IanBell ?

Yes, we'll be adding some new forums for the game soon.

I might add as a WMD 2 member my wheel settings used during testing for the T150 RS and T300 RS here at gtplanet. They will be posted as soon as the official game forum is up.

Oh btw, it was essential for the reviewers to get D1P, even a late positive adjustment to the overall ffb was submitted for D1P.

Edit: Double Ayyys, almost forgot. The best thing that I found was removing the Jack Spade ffb folder in PC1, the game feels better with good settings. But, PC1 has 2 underlying issues and my knowledge of these issues they are very complicated.

Thinking of all these historic events I just had an idea.

Set up a multi-class race at a track with the most amount of cars allowed. Is there a limit on how many classes we can choose? I would put these together:

Vintage Prototype, Group A, Group 4, Vintage GT A

Well it's taken more than 2 years of tinkering but I've finally moved up to rank 9 on the Most Favourite Tunes by user at the projectcarssetups.eu database site.

Proud moment! I hope a similar site is created for pCARS2, or perhaps the in game tunes sharing option will actually be a thing next time around.

That's great, but you use the Jack Spades 66% and I switched to something else. But guess what? Less than two weeks until we don't have to deal with all this nonsense and can simply sit down and drive.
Yeah I was using my own settings for a good 18 months before going for the 66%. Has made a world of difference to me. I haven't even updated the site for a lot of my older tunes so the FFB settings for those are terrible lol. Only 2 more weeks woop!

I had 66% for awhile but bought a new PS4 when the Gold Slims came out. Unfortunately I didn't understand what I was doing and loaded the game before downloading my old save so it made a new one and erased the old. PS+ Backup saves. So I didn't feel like going through every car again as I used them and found some other settings that work fine. It's pretty much default with a few tweaks to the game options but the car settings only change Master Scale up to 40. Sometimes 50.

I just wanted the wheel to feel stiffer so it would take more strength to rotate it. Like what I was used to in GT6. But again that's just trying to replicate something I was used to, not necessarily something more realistic.

The limit is 4 different classes. I have many normal combinations in mind along with some crazy nonsensical ones.

I think the four I chose would work well together. I want to compare old vs new as well so something with the old ~300HP Group A vs new ~300HP TCR. The M1 ProCar against modern GT3, that kind of stuff.

Ultra Edition on the UK Amazon available again for pre-order on PS4 only.

Obviously a few cancellations that are being re-listed, so expect it to sell out quick again.

I will be bummed if this game doesn't deliver. There are so many great aspects to the game, so many great cars and a track list which destroys the competition. What I don't want is dumb AI, broken pad handling, holes inside race tracks and a terrible tyre model. I hope the devs and the PR team haven't over hyped this game...:scared:

that's why I don't buy games on day one anymore , I am gonna let the "reviewers" and players vote on this one first before I buy it which I will sometime

That's good to know. I decided to also check on the Playstation side and, digital pre-load should be available on 20/09/2017.
I've seen screenshots showing 19/09, so other earlier dates might happen, too.
