With new Thursday passed, new sales on US Store...

There are again full and deluxe versions of game, BUT, again again and again, no Season Pass and/or DLC's discounts!

Now months has passed without this kind of sale on US, while EU Store has for more then month in row and it will be active for week more!
And there was few similar sales in past months - EU only ofc

@Bealdor

When testing for league races, I always open a private online lobby with 2 hours practice session and penalties off. Always going through the pit lane as quickly as I can. I probably hold a speed record for the little pit exit chicane at Brands Hatch.
Instead of speeding all the way through, I generally turn the wrong way and just come out the pit entrance because it's closer to your garage slot (sometimes WAY closer). :) I don't know why SMS doesn't just park us in the garage nearest to the exit. :boggled:

Just spent the last 3 hrs absolutely thrashing the ass off of various cars around Bannockbrae (especially the group 5's).

I'm gonna say it...

I think it's the best fantasy/made up road circuit I have ever raced on, it's got everything to get your heart pumping, it's fast but technical, it's got elevation & bumps. It is fantastic & it's a figure of 8 track aswell.

Love it, absolutely love it :)

Well done SMS

Based on Bannochbrae, Azure Coast, and California Highway, I think SMS have got a knack for track/road design that could make for an amazing playground of roads if they ever attempt an open world game -- that, with physics and weather on the level of PCARS2 is pretty much my dream game.

Currently learning Long Beach in the Group 4 Porsche. Not sure if it's the car or track but not feeling the combo atm (hate the tyre barrier on the corner before the back straight, keep clipping the rear end), but I will win.... Eventually :)

Been fiddling with 2nd & 3rd gear ratios as it really bogs down in most of the corners here, had to make it a 1 make race aswell as the BMW literally obliterates this Porsche.

Edit: Starting to feel the flow now, just gotta keep it smooth, good exits here is key (as with many track's but you know what I mean).

Edit 2: GET IN, 1st place :)

Before I start this take I don't want to start a new debate.

While watching Le Mans I am switching between GT Sport and PC2. Now I have my issues / negative points regarding PC2 but the driving, authenticity, options and experience make it to me far superior to GT Sport. That being said, I do enjoy the occasional drive in Gran Turismo and I might have to add to that that I don't care so much about graphics or online racing.

PC2 has it's flaws and lacks some features I believe should be in, mostly an unscripted career to increase replayability and the custom offline championship or the possibility to fill an online championship with AI. Sometimes the AI fluctuations frustrate me or a weird bug occurs and I think why can't someone make the game I want.

In the future if this happens, I just switch to GT Sport for an hour and be happy that I don't have to play that game for all my racing needs and that there is a game that comes close to what I want

Watchin Le Mans has me pretty interested in buying this game - but the question I have is it even worth to try with a controller?

I am really happy with GTS as my racing game but seeing the 24h race I really want to do multi-class races again, I remember driving them in PC1. But don't know if that alone is worth splashing out 30 bucks + I guess I'd have to buy the Le Mans DLC aswell.

How's multi-class racing in this game? How close can I come to replicate WEC and the Le Mans race?

As a controller user i haven't had a problem with playing pc2 with a controller, and you can fine tune the controller settings to your liking.

If you buy the sprite of le man dlc you'll have the 2016 hybrids from toyota, audi, and porsche add to that lmp2 and gte and you got yourself a pretty replica of the real 24 hours of le man.

If your quick £30 will get you the deluxe edition which comes with all dlc & it's perfectly playable with a controller, I play with both & have no trouble flitting between the 2 (I use the pad for quick blasts & a wheel for a more serious session)

the deluxe edition costs 99€ where I live :(

TOYOTA WON!!! THIS IS HISTORY, I FEEL SO EMOTIONAL, I FEEL LIKE A BALLOON ABOUT TO BURST, I WANNA SHARE MY TEARS OF HAPPINESS, TOYOTA WON!!! I FEEL LIKE SCREAMMING THIS FOREEEEVAAAAAAR! YAAAAAAY! FINALLY! SO BEAUTIFUL!

Thanks for the opinions guys, will try to get pick up the game tomorrow in store as I can get for 25€ there. Will then probably buy the Spirit of Le Mans DLC or whatever it is called seperately.

So my granny PC by some miracle can run pc2 and i have a few questions :(:(

First what's the deal with this livery? How come its not in the console version?

Last question

Was i hearing right but the engine sound of both P1s are 100% better then the console version? :(:(

I almost feel ripoff by the console version :banghead:

Anyway i'm gonna try to upgrade my pc to see if i can run the game better cause the difference in engine sound with the P1s is to much :(

The white livery is a placeholder for a costum livery in PC2 as far as I know.

As far as sound, I dont think there is a difference, maybe you used headphones or they have different speakers, but criticism for PC2 sound I've seen on both sides

Correct wat @gladbecker82 said. You can download other liveries (e.g. via RaceDepartment) and copy that one to where you installed PCars2 (often: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Project CARS 2\Vehicles\Textures\CustomLiveries). You overwrite the placeholder white one. Then in game you have to select the white livery and once you start a session you will see your custom livery.

Keep in mind that others can only see your custome livery if they also have the same one in their directory. Otherwise they will see the white one.
