I've been disconnected from PC2 servers more than all my other sims combined. I honestly can't recall a time where I diso'd from an AC server but it happens in PC2 almost every time I'm on (once a week). The really nice thing is that it always happens right when it goes to drop us on the grid for the race which means I'm then locked out from the race.

I've had these issues with PCars 1. In my case they were caused by my provider router with built-in NAT, which couldn't be circumvented. I've since switched to a modem that doesn't do anything but convert coax to ethernet and haven't had issues since.

Was there an update to RS Dash? if you had one yesterday or today it could have been to fix it for patch 3. If you are on a console you could be ahead of the patch, if this makes sense. I have no idea if this is it or not, but I do know Patch 1.03v for PC broke the app.

There wasn't an update I am aware of, it is just the app previously worked ok with my PS4, the only thing that has changed is me re-installing the OS on the PS4. The app connects, but is now delayed. I cannot see any settings other than the UDP setting and PCars1 compatibility.

I have decided to factory reset the tablet and re-install to see if that works.

Fingers crossed the patch will resolve it when it lands, but I was surprised how it works, but 30 seconds slower.

Don't think that's the problem in my case since I never get disco'd from any of my other games. I literally have hundreds of hours racing online in AC and while I'm sure there's been a disco or two in that time I honestly can't remember it ever happening.

Ahhh... I want the update for PS4!

I do want to enjoy the improved graphics, physics, sounds... come on Sony, bring it on!

Does anyone think this a conspiracy from PD and T10 to force us to play their games? :D:odd::lol::lol::lol:

I would say yes but over in the gt sport forums they're having all kinds of issues of their own.

I gave that combo a try (Suko / Ginetta Jr), strange, I didn't get the same behavior. I also started last (13 AI) but 100% strength is too much for me without knowing this car (and my lack of talent) - haven't driven before. I was able to overtake a few early on in the race but they quickly pounced on me and passed a short time later. The field seemed to string out for me, and because of this I couldn't tell if the AI was battling or not - I could only see a few towards the back of the pack. With that said, I was at 100% strength/40% aggression.
I also tried the same track but with the 1972 Ford Escort RS1600 Racing as I've had good luck with that car. The pack racing with this car seemed to be a little more bunched up, and I had better success. Either I know this car better or the AI for this car performs a little differently than the Ginetta Jr. There was some good passing back and forth between me and the AI. Anyway, the AI still doesn't seem bad to me - not much different than my other sims except for maybe rF2 which has always been very good.
BTW, not a fan of the Ginetta Jr. - drives somewhat like a FWD car to me - but that's just me I guess :)

Tonight I'm gonna continue with my career (GT4), think its at Long Beach, so Ill reduce the agg to 40 and will let you know how that turns out.

Didn't have fun at all last night. Second league race (ever for me), got disconnected with under 2 mins left in qualifying, started at the back. First heat crashed out first lap, someone was asking me if my car suddenly lost power :confused:

Second Heat 1st Lap --- You've been disconnected from the server.

So two disconnects in the span of 1 hour.

The Struggle Continues :gtpflag:
 
I haven’t disconnected at all so far in pCars 2. Maybe it’s whoever is hosting your guy’s sessions is the problem?

It's possible, but I've had it happen from three different hosts so who knows. Unfortunately we've had to resort to using the P2P method because the dedicated server is pretty [insert AUP violating term here] and has the tendency to boot everyone in the room one by one. Gives me Gran Turismo flashbacks. :nervous:

You may need to open ports on your router. I had some issues joining servers until I did that, and haven't had issues since (knock on wood). It's usually an issue with most online multiplayer games

Nope, never have an issue with any of my other online games, just this one. Raced again Friday night and while I managed to avoid the disco several others (including the host) got the random boot. Frustratingly it often seems to happen right when it switches from Qualify to Race and since they lock you out 3 minutes before the race starts (why??) it means you're forced to become a spectator.
 
It's been with Sony/MS for a week now. The end is close.

It is weird that the demo is based off newer code than what's in the main game. Anyone who purchased the full game on the basis of enjoying the demo may have been slightly confused as to why some of the features in the demo aren't present in the main game.

Yeah that's what I don't get. People are buy the game off what the demo looks like and if your on pro or the X there probably going to be disappointed when they fire the game up. Strange decision from SMS

Deleted PCARS 2 off my PS4 and its gonna be hard for me to return :( I'll miss the GTR last time i drove it was over 3 weeks ago just right before i uninstall the game from my PS4.

In total i played PCARS 2 for 147 hours 90% of which was driving the GTR.

Close to 2 months now and yet no update :boggled: It was all i could take.

ofc its not made easy by the fact i'm on OG hardware.
