Bug I have noticed with the lightweight KTM is that following the patch its gearbox was broken and it would not shift gear properly and redlined in every gear regardless of speed. Resetting the tuning settings to default fixed it.

Damn, I have never been this anxious, disappointed, frustrated waiting for a patch before....then it hit me why, I brought a game that was not complete, played a demo of the same game which was much better than the original game but now have to go back to playing a broken ass game...twilight zone...they really need to get this patch to NA....I may go to PC soon...the irony is that dirt 2, forza and GTS all just got patches

On the track or in the car selection screens? If in the seelction screens then that bug has been in since the start.

No I’m the actual championship. 4 gt3 drivers, 2 GT4 and then just 10 touring cars? Seems a bit pointless having a touring car championship with 10 drivers

On PC, is anyone noticing a tire temp problem where the graphic of your front left tire "looks" colder but is 50 degrees hotter? My front left on multiple cars looks blue/green vs the others which are starting to turn yellow.

Any source to confirm that or just wishful thinking? Stunned already it wasn't same day around the world give or take a few time differences.
There's obviously some kind of unintended problem. SMS admitted on Twitter that they're investigating why NA isn't getting the patch. Unfortunately, we're going into the weekend. Look forward to your patch Monday afternoon (I'm speculating of course, but it's not looking good).

It's looking like Tuesday guys and it's our fault and no one elses sorry. What happened is the hot patch we pushed out at the last second was accepted by Europe but the US insisted on that being retested which is normal protocol.

@IanBell Would the proper thing to do next time is wait to give it to the EU so that all regions get at the same time?

It seems unfair to make some people wait when it already exists and while that is exactly what is happening (unintended of course) it seems like that would work just fine. We've all been waiting together this far.

There are so many that stopped and came back for GTSport. It doesn't feel "right" at all but putting myself in PD's own "world" I can understand how their physics work when I'm there. It's more like a game in that I'm learning what I can and can't do by basic trial and error instead of learning and understanding the physics in real time. It's more "okay I can't do that" after the fact.

We gave it to all at the same time. Some have differing internal policies.

Hi Ian.

Will there be more improvements in the graphics in the future for ps4 pro?

3 graphic options are awesome and a game changer.

Doesn't that mean the NA will get an extra DLC surprise in their stocking for Christmas
I've always wanted to know how one of these handles. I'm sure the dev team could whip one up over the weekend and add it to the patch by Tuesday.

Absolutely love the transparency. Thanks for the heads up. Few more days won't kill us. :)=👍
Good transperancy and honesty. I hate when companies choose to shift blame or just say “we are working hard on this issue” which absolutely doesn’t say anything! Just be honest and people will understand. (Except the inevitable whiners)

That said... it’s easy for us Europeans to show understanding:cheers:

Not really understanding that comment about “fair”. Let’s just say if it was the other way around you wouldn’t be complaining at all. But nonetheless should be an issue that can be worked out and prepared better for future update releases.

Great idea! I always wondered the same! How in the hell do you steer with 4 front tires! Is there any game out there that has the tyrrell?

I feel for you Ian. I'm sure you must be disappointed as us here in N/America region for not getting the patch yet too but C'est la vie. When it comes it comes.

Someone mentioned the unfairness of penalties. I'm right now about to start a GT4 race with GT rules enabled at Imola. an AI car stopped short during the rolling start. I tapped the rear. paused and I get a +5.00. Then, not more than a couple seconds later, the cars in front of the AI I hit, all stopped short. I slowed way back and they all hit. I paused and did not see any cars ahead with penalties. Then, "Prepare for start...", AI leave me in the dust at the second to last corner. I'm pointing to the apex and the AI behind hit me. I pause the game again and I get another +5.00! What's the deal?

Looks like the horrible CE crashes to desktop are back and they kick in during car selection screens. Are you seeing lots of error reports confirming the same? I crashed 11 times back to PS2 homescreen last night and all with CE errors.

@IanBell , I'm hearing that we will need to delete any saved setups before we do the update, is that correct?

Only with incompatible exe's trying to race together. It will happen each time and will be exacerbated if we have staggered patch releases like we're seeing this time.
