No it isn't. I see someone complaining about the graphics and comparing it to a PS2 game which I feel is a slight exaggeration and hasnt back it uo with any visual reference?

Again, bugs vs personal perception are distinctly different. His personal perception is that it can look like a PS2 game and has recycled content from the previous game. Well I'm sorry but my personal perception on the first point is vastly different and on the 2nd point, find me a sequel to any racing game that doesn't have some sort of recycled content in it.

Poor graphical performance.
In some instances (nightime and rain conditions) the game performs really poor, with screen tearing, evident jaggies, very low resolution or complete lack of any form of anti aliasing, low frame rate, large amount of pixelated areas.

On Xbox One X the instances can be easily found in the career mode since the beginning, and specifically at Shanghai night race, Shanghai rain race, Texas Speedway night/rain race (all Group E).
And they happen every time.

Notsofast is making an hyperbole, but his concept is correct according to my experience, and I did not have any problem in understanding what he meant.

Unfortunately I have experienced all these issues by myself.
If you are on One X, and you did not find these graphical issues at the races I mentioned, please share your settings and I will be happy to give a try.

Bugs.
- Black squares appearing on the screen randomly in some races (happened at Bannochbrae).
- Customise works on the car sometimes not shown on race, and the race after coming back (happening frequently).
- Damaged car carried over different races.

ACC and GTS and PC3 are on a par handling wise.

But only for GT4 cars, then GT3 cars, then only on the limit, or near the limit, or just over the limit, but not over the limit by an unknown amount.

Never on a par as a whole. Same references, same driving techniques and handling in a 1'45.6 pace at barcelone with an Audi GT3.

That's my specific conditions.

If you don’t agree with me you don't have to invent things that I've never said.

That wasn't too difficult was it. I can't say I've seen any of thise initial graphical issues. I think there was one race on Texas at night that looked a little rough but nothing PS2 worthy.

The livery disappearing I've seen twice and as I understand it is with the devs for the next patch, same with the damage, again haven't come across that myself yet. And haven't seen black squares.

Xbox One X, prioritise resolution, hud shake and camera shake off.

Edit; that sounded more salty than intended.

And a Mustang GT4, would you like me to quote it!

“This week there is a new one with mustang gt4 at laguna seca, very challenging are it handles along every corner exactly the same as in ACC, iracing and GTS. ”

That’s before you started ‘tweaking’ the conditions

I noticed a few graphical issues on the PC, keep in mind I only ran a few tracks and more often than not was more consumed with trying to get the car to go straight than the graphics but I did notice shadows flickering a lot especially pronounced in the stands at daytona. I also saw some glitches where it kind of looked like a little fog that would suddenly appear and disappear in the road ahead.

For me those issues are not that big a deal, the things I was really disappointed by where the lack of tuning options and leaderboards and the reason I returned the game was because I could not get it to work with my wheel properly, my brother had similar issues with his wheel as well [different wheel both supported in game] so he also returned it for a refund. I wanted to like it, and wanted to play it even when it disappointed me but when you can't get a car to go straight that pretty much kills it.

I added that specific Pcars3 event as comparison too, not the whole gt4 cars.

I'm not tweaking conditions, my first and repeated condition is barcelona gt3 audi R8 in 1'45.6 pace.

You are always lost with words and rigid thinking.

You’re going to deny making the claim when I’ve just directly quoted you saying it!

Seriously inane.

I have to agree with those users you quoted i seen the worst when it comes to graphics and yes it can sometimes look like a ps2 game.

Had to bring down my ps4 resolution down to 1080p from 2160p for it to look decent at best.

Then i have stuff like this happen all the time.

Yeah I'm not disagreeing with them, I'm just saying I havent come across half this stuff. Clearly I'm just sailing through on borrowed time.

I've just don't deny it.

Now you're inventing that I deny that...

Adding another example is not tweaking.
I've repeated 1'45.6 pace on R8 GT3 Barcelone 100 times and you continue with your rigid thinking...

You are lost in your words and lost in your arguing.

So you now acknowledge that you do think, in the case of the Mustang GT4 cornering, that PC3 is on par with ACC, GTS and iRacing? Without any other caveats?

For the fifth time said yet, not on par

You are always lost with words.

On a serious note. I’ll be posting my ‘one week later’ impressions this evening. Keep an eye out.

You said ‘exactly the same as’ which is what on a par with means, you quite literally said they are the same!!!!

They can be driven with the same references, drivings skills, and feel the same at handling, at least to me at my pace.

If you don't agree with me you don't have to invent or change words with a rigid thinking.

I’ve not changed you words, I’m quoting you directly...

.... those are your words, including the ‘exactly the same as’ part.

If you don’t agree with me with this and with the 1'45.6 in R8 GT3 at Barcelone there is no problem.

You can disagree.

Anyone else having issues with the Capitolio Passion Hot Lap in Road A?

I’ve tried multiple times (with different cars), but the instant I go past the start/finish line, my lap is invalidated.

I'm getting the same.

I have to say; I don’t know much about tuning cars, but one thing we have neglected to mention is tuning really makes a difference in how the cars move on the circuits.

For example I had a horrific time getting the Formula E around the Azure Circuit for the September monthly.

I adjusted the following:
-please keep in mind, total novice and I wish the game explained tuning more in-depth-

front downforce to 25%
Kept rear downforce 50%
front tire pressure 28
rear tire pressure 29

Now all of a sudden I can control the vehicle better.

For those who didn't know, Buying a race conversion is like buying a brand new car. It will become a GT class car with all new upgrades. All old upgrades and the car's XP level will be reset.

The car will get a new name; effectively removing the unconverted version from your garage.

So if you're gonna buy a car to convert it, don't bother leveling it up or waste credits on upgrades.

I got Gold 3 with your tune, so I think they work!
